“Clean, large convenient store and gas station. We stopped to top off before driving back home and needed a drink for the road. There was a deal on brisk tea and I bought some delicious banana pudding. Similar to bucees, they have souvenirs, stickers, clothes, stuffed animals, and other random travelers items. Check out was easy and the line wasn't too long either. Great stop before hitting the road for a long drive.”

Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch and the Rueben was awesome! Of course I forgot to take a pic until half way thru. She had a cheeseburger that rated with the best of them. “A great place to eat if you’re shopping locally or looking for some nighttime entertainment. While speaking with a local, she said she had a great burger at this place and it didn’t disappoint. The patty melt came with a solid burger that had a distinct taste with the sauce and grilled onions, while my wife had a grilled cheese, adding tomatoes and grilled onions, that she said was fantastic. The corn salsa was a bit misleading as they said it was creamy, but it was just regular corn off the cob, and was great mixed in with their chili which was tender and not greasy. They have bottled beer and a selection of different shots like the pickle shooter and Jell-O shots, as well as featuring live music in the evening. Would definitely try again if in the area.”

“Boon & Co. a new restaurant/cafe, gourmet grocer and merchant located in the large, white building on South Washington Street (Route 237) between West Austin St. and West Wantke St. is the latest edition to Round Top, Texas's restaurant scene. Inside Boon and Co. reminds me of The Low Country Market in Beaufort, South Carolina, a fine restaurant/cafe in and surrounded by a gourmet grocery and market. Atmosphere, service and food are all good. There is a full bar, a very good wine list. Prices are inline with the overall quality. The restrooms are nice, clean and handicapped accessible. Boon & Co. is brand new, they had a soft opening during the Round Top fall antique show and won't be complete and fully open until January. There is still a little construction and interior design work in progress and the menu is still being developed. By January the already good and well worth a visit is sure to be even better.”

“Bookish redhead working the register was a breath of fresh air. Good coffee and clean restrooms 👍🏽. Close to a Best Western Plus and a few other hotels. Dollar General, Dairy Queen and NAPA are about a block away and downtown is just a bit farther. McDonald’s restaurant is a nice addition. Great place to get fueled up and back on your way.”

“It sounds ridiculous to rate a gas station but this gas station’s bakery and food selection make it a perfect stop for a fill up. They have a deli, bakery and all that you’d expect from a convenient store. I got a chef salad that was amazingly fresh and delicious. They also have a little gift shop inside which seemed kinda cute.”
