“I have been three times since the restaurant opened last month. The first visit, the fried seafood and okra were amazing--except for the oysters which tasted like the kind from a jar. The second visit, my seafood was not as hot and tasted as if it had been sitting for a while. The third visit, is what compelled me to write this review. I ordered a pound of boiled shrimp. I've been waiting for a place close to home to get boiled shrimp, this may not be the place. The shrimp were seasoned fine, but they were small and overcooked. The shells were stuck to the meat and i could not just peel and eat. The shrimp were definitely not Gulf Shrimp, they tasted cheap and not "meaty" at all like what I'm used to. They tasted like the shrimp in shrimp fried rice at cheap Chinese restaurants. As a comparison, the pound of boiled shrimp at Tad's are the same price and are much larger and WAY meatier (but not seasoned as good as The Catch). Please fix the boiled shrimp. We want you guys to stay and I don't want to drive all the way to Tad's for good boiled shrimp.”

“We went to Messina Hof Harvest Green over the weekend. They are in there soft opening time. Even with mostly new staff the service was great and the food was fantastic. Had dinner Friday and Saturday. Petite fillet on Friday and their pork chop on Saturday unbelievable. The bread pudding was excellent. Of course the wine is always great. Didn’t get to try but they have a pizza oven that will cook 12 pizzas at a time.”

“Let’s talk about how clean and organized this place! Way better than most gas stations hot stands, also the food is out standing, I loved their Gyros, their Philly cheese steak. Oh I almost forgot about that delicious Burger they have, I believe they name it hero burger and it is lit ?, I will definitely be back to try more stuff. Also I will recommend everyone to call ahead before going to cut the preparation time, because they freshly prepare everything!!!”

“What a staff! We have a taekwondo lock in with a bunch of hungry kids and the staff provided quick and excellent service. We ordered 13 pizzas and all were FRESH out the oven! I was even helped out to my vehicle. It was awesome! Recommend them to anyone! Thank you to the staff that worked 6/7/13 night shift!”

“I absolutely love the hardworking team on this location. They are amazing people with super positive attitude . Every sandwich is warm to perfection and every drink is made to perfect. One time I missed my order ( as in they run out of the bagels I ordered online ) but next time they gave me that for free. Not only that also refunded me the amount. Caity is absolutely free of energy. It’s always a pleasure to come into the store and being welcomed with a cheerful “good morning” and other welcoming people. Love love love it .”

“It’s great to have a solid Cajun restaurant right here in Pecan Grove. Fits in well with the other great choices around here. Close to home with a nice vibe and solid food. They are in their soft opening and fine tuning each day before their grand opening this fall. Nice patio on a sunny day (and getting better every time we have been). Many things have come and gone in this location - any many have been unfocused and just - meh.... This one has tremendous potential. Show them some PG love! They are the real deal.”

“We came to Mimi’s today to celebrate my brothers 59th birthday. The customer service was excellent and the food was superb. The owners were very personal and actually came over and talked to us for awhile. My Sister and brother loved the chargrilled oysters. We all had the crab seafood stew and it was absolutely delicious. If I had closed my eyes I would have thought I was in New Orleans. When I tell you this is my new go to spot for seafood and they also have the best fried chicken like your grandmother cooked it. I can’t wait to go back.”
