“Another coffee shop review in a long list of coffee shop reviews I’ve been putting off. I came to Rang (Roasted) Coffee during their soft opening. I’m very excited to see a Vietnamese coffee shop open up in Sugar Land! I like the vibe here. I came during lunch and it was pretty busy. It still had the chill vibe of a coffee shop study spot albeit the hip hop jamming from the speaker which is right up my alley. The decorations in the shop are cool and it has a modern vibe. I ordered a few drinks while there to try some out. First I ordered the Rang Super Sữa Đá. It was good. It’s like a ca phê sữa đá but stronger. I didn’t notice a huge difference in taste but it wasn’t bad at all. It’s also not on the menu, so you may have to ask for it specifically if they do not mention it to you. Their version of ca phê muối , the Rang salted cold foam was okay. I thought compared to some I’ve had in Bellaire/Alief it was a bit light.It was good but not great. The Matcha Rouge Euphoria was a bit light on the matcha for my taste and the strawberry flavor which was very sweet overpowered the drink for me, even after mixing thoroughly. I like the idea but the balance was off in the execution. I did really like the butter croissant. It tasted great. At $3 per croissant, I’m not sure I’d order another however when I could go by very closely and grab a bành mì for $6. It did taste good though. With the lack of Vietnamese coffee shops in the area, it’s exciting to see one open up. If you have time to go to Bellaire/Alief you may find more traditional and established coffee shops with a more authentic selection but Rang will make a name for itself in Sugar Land. It is definitely catering to a younger demographic and thus may be not everyone’s cup of coffee but it will definitely stand out as a modern take on Vietnamese coffee. I’ll return soon just because I enjoyed the vibe, it’s close by and convenient and it’s unique for the area. Drop by and see for yourself!”

“I've been coming to this store for the last 25 years.. and NOTHING COMPARES. I've been to dozens of other Shipley stores, and this one has by far been my favorite! We did have a slight hicc-up this last visit, where the milk we got from the fridge in store was spoiled, but that's the first time something like that has EVER happened. The milk was not expired or opened in any way, so there was no way for the employees to know. We grabbed two right next to each other, and the 2nd one was just fine! Donuts are always top notch, and the warm glazed.. are out of this world!”

“I gotta start off with recommending the brisket & cheese kolaches— WOWWWW!! 🤩🤩🤩 I typically don’t eat meat, but give you don’t find a brisket & cheese kolaches often, I HAD TO TRY IT!! I’ve gotta say, even though in the day I visited, they prepared it with different dough and had more of a pizza consistency… the flavor & fall off the bone of the brisket was worth it. This is probably some of the best brisket I’ve had in awhile, including some of the steakhouses I’ve visited in the past. The customer service is on point & makes me want to return again. They provide the warmth, family-oriented service you don’t typically find, reminded me of good ol’ Sugar Land businesses from when I was growing up here.”

“I’ve been to at least 15 different tea house around Houston area and this is the best so far. The tea was perfectly sweetened (not too sweet or not enough) and the flavor of the tea is great. “I love this place! My best friends and I are here 3-5 days out of the week doing homework. The atmosphere is awesome (good music, never too loud to study, games to play when you need a break, a place to take photos/selfies) and the drinks are great too. I *highly* recommend the blueberry slushy - it is amazing. Their frozen yogurt is awesome as well. The owner's name is Tony and he is incredible. He knows all of our names and has our orders memorized. He is genuinely the nicest guy you will ever meet and goes out of his way to give us outstanding customer service. “I found Boulevard Bagel rather by accident, but what a happy accident. I had a bagel with cream cheese, and a coffee. Their coffee machine is surprisingly good, you can choose between regular and decaf and even iced. I went with the dark roast coffee and it was outstanding. The bagel was tasty and toasted well. The inside of the shop is clean, they have outlets at each table and they have USB ports.”
