“Service is amazing - they are very patient. Atmosphere is just as good. But one thing is the food. The sesame balls are very good, some of the best i’ve ever had. The Iza poke bowl is really beautiful, but the taste is not. It’s way too salty. They add soy sauce and spices to the rice when it’s supposed to be a cleanser in this dish (or that’s what i would recommend). I’m fine with the spice but the sauce is just way too much. The seaweed in the bowl is just covered in sauce. The cucumber and avocado on the sides are very fresh and good however. The fish is perfect but i think that’s the only thing on the dish that should have that much sauce on it. Since the bowl is meant to be salad, it would have a much more refreshing feel if the salad and white rice wasn’t coated with sodium. With improvements on the construction of food, this restaurant could see a higher customer base. Short version: Too much sauce on the Poke Bowls. Outstanding service and atmosphere. Ramen is good if you’re into a smokey taste.”

“Another coffee shop review in a long list of coffee shop reviews I’ve been putting off. I came to Rang (Roasted) Coffee during their soft opening. I’m very excited to see a Vietnamese coffee shop open up in Sugar Land! I like the vibe here. I came during lunch and it was pretty busy. It still had the chill vibe of a coffee shop study spot albeit the hip hop jamming from the speaker which is right up my alley. The decorations in the shop are cool and it has a modern vibe. I ordered a few drinks while there to try some out. First I ordered the Rang Super Sữa Đá. It was good. It’s like a ca phê sữa đá but stronger. I didn’t notice a huge difference in taste but it wasn’t bad at all. It’s also not on the menu, so you may have to ask for it specifically if they do not mention it to you. Their version of ca phê muối , the Rang salted cold foam was okay. I thought compared to some I’ve had in Bellaire/Alief it was a bit light.It was good but not great. The Matcha Rouge Euphoria was a bit light on the matcha for my taste and the strawberry flavor which was very sweet overpowered the drink for me, even after mixing thoroughly. I like the idea but the balance was off in the execution. I did really like the butter croissant. It tasted great. At $3 per croissant, I’m not sure I’d order another however when I could go by very closely and grab a bành mì for $6. It did taste good though. With the lack of Vietnamese coffee shops in the area, it’s exciting to see one open up. If you have time to go to Bellaire/Alief you may find more traditional and established coffee shops with a more authentic selection but Rang will make a name for itself in Sugar Land. It is definitely catering to a younger demographic and thus may be not everyone’s cup of coffee but it will definitely stand out as a modern take on Vietnamese coffee. I’ll return soon just because I enjoyed the vibe, it’s close by and convenient and it’s unique for the area. Drop by and see for yourself!”

“I ordered half a dozen glazed & a cinnamon twist. They got the donuts off the tray. The donuts were warm, but cool enough that the icing didn't melt 2 bottom of the donuts. ( The Perfect temperature / cooling time ). Great job !!!! 👏👍 They should call their cinnamon twist just " The Twist " because I couldn't taste any cinnamon in or on like I used 2. " The Twist. " tasted like a twisted, glazed donut w/o any cinnamon. Would I come here again ? Yes, but I'll no longer order the " Twist "”

“I've been coming to this store for the last 25 years.. and NOTHING COMPARES. I've been to dozens of other Shipley stores, and this one has by far been my favorite! We did have a slight hicc-up this last visit, where the milk we got from the fridge in store was spoiled, but that's the first time something like that has EVER happened. The milk was not expired or opened in any way, so there was no way for the employees to know. We grabbed two right next to each other, and the 2nd one was just fine! Donuts are always top notch, and the warm glazed.. are out of this world!”

“I gotta start off with recommending the brisket & cheese kolaches— WOWWWW!! 🤩🤩🤩 I typically don’t eat meat, but give you don’t find a brisket & cheese kolaches often, I HAD TO TRY IT!! I’ve gotta say, even though in the day I visited, they prepared it with different dough and had more of a pizza consistency… the flavor & fall off the bone of the brisket was worth it. This is probably some of the best brisket I’ve had in awhile, including some of the steakhouses I’ve visited in the past. The customer service is on point & makes me want to return again. They provide the warmth, family-oriented service you don’t typically find, reminded me of good ol’ Sugar Land businesses from when I was growing up here.”

“Edit Jan 27, 2024 I went today and asked for a simple order. 1 dozen glazed and 1 chocolate iced donate with WALNUTS topping. She double checked and said yes. Went to get food. I seen she grabbed a donut but I wasn't sure if there were walnuts on it so I asked her again, "are there WALNUTS on the chocolate iced donut?" She looked confused. I said again. "WALNUTS?? “The Early Bird Cafe is hands down the best new breakfast spot we’ve ever tried. Their brisket is so tender and delicious. We also tried their banana pancakes, which are by far the best pancakes we’ve ever had. After speaking with the chef, we learned they recently spent weeks perfecting their secret recipe, and it truly shows in every bite. The cafe itself is impeccably clean and stunning, with luxurious decor and lighting that adds to the delightful ambiance. I wish we had a place like this closer to home—I’d be there every day!”

“Well this is funny. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I walked in to Pucci. I was going with my family to get coffee and ended up at the Gucci version of a Dog shop. It was definitely the vibe of upscale and glamorous. It was very clean and had lots of interesting dog accessories and clothing for sale throughout the cafe. But what was really amazing is the outdoor patio area! That was cool! The staff were kind, courteous, and attentive. They had a decent selection of sweet treats and drinks. I had the matcha latte and cheesecake. Both were good! Maybe I’ll go back even if it’s not my cup of tea.”

“Extremely friendly staff! I was greeted immediately as I entered. It wasn’t very busy when I came in so I had the benefit of having their full attention. I liked that they had a lot of drink & flavor options on their menu. I ordered a muffin that was warmed to a perfect temperature. My drink was a little too hot to drink so I had to wait. My only pet peeve when going into a coffee house is being served in a to-go cup if I’m dining in. Otherwise, this is a nice atmosphere.”
