Nick's Kitchen and Beach Bar

This place was excellent. My friend decided she wanted to have her birthday dinner there and I have to say it was an excellent choice. The food was phenomenal and Our server was great, she kept our drinks full and even brought us cake in celebration of my friends birthday without us asking. I will be back with my husband next time I'm in Galveston. Thank you!

Wonderful place with outstanding people. The servers and service are exceptional. If I ever get a vote Nick's is the best burger in Galveston and possibly all of Texas. It's huge and delicious.....cooked just right and served with their crispy fries. Don't miss it.

Great place to hang out and get some fresh seafood. The shrimp is out of this world, pretty good beer selection too. I forget what it's called but they have a "loaded" friend shrimp that is really good. We were with a group of about six, the service was top notch, they took good care of us. I'll be back next time i,m on the island.

Interestingly, this place is connected to two other restaurants, and they all have a different atmosphere. Nick's is more for us who prefer something less expensive, not too ritzy, and a little rowdy. We had the fried catfish and also the Gulf snapper. While the fried catfish was too dry (thank goodness for the tartar sauce), the snapper was extremely delicious. Also, the waitress forgot to give us silverware and didn't return for about 5 minutes after she gave us our food to bring us some.
