“I stopped in there for a quick meal. There was soft music playing and it was late in the afternoon and that music really was relaxing and putting me to sleep literally. The lady that was my waitress I really wish I would have got her name but I'm at work I will be back on my next trip through she was about the best waitress I ever had. I did not have much money or I would have tipped her more I only had maybe 18 $19 but I gave her all the cash I had in my pocket and my wallet I promise you I did. Driving a truck I am forced to eat out a lot and it is hard to get good service but when you do get it you are grateful like I said I wish I would have got the lady's name and maybe I will later in add to this so they will know who she is but I came out explained how nice it was to actually have good service excellent service.... I'm sure the the owner of this place might see this review and share it with your employees it was around 9pm 2/12/19.”

“This place only does a few things but boy do they get them right. The food was really good! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because my food was a little dry. I got the kitchen sink and like I said it tasted great, but it was like it came out of a big pot after sitting for a while. The "hot" sauce could use a little more heat but everyone has their own tastes with that. The flavor for the hot sauce was good though.”

“Great fried fish and shrimp. The coatings were just right. The boiled shrimp and corn and red potatoes was tasty. I used to work on a shrimp boat, and I'm particular about shrimp. This was my first time there, and they did a fair amount of local business at 2 pm. Locals know what they like.”

“There are very few places I like near I live but this place I like. The reason is because free hush puppies and chili. For me that is awesome and the food is not so bad. I had a hamburger and then after I ordered I found out about the hush puppies and chili. The free items we're good and you can have as much as you want. Now that I know what I know I would get a salad and enjoy the hush puppies and chili. So if into getting a bargain for what you get I would come here.”

“Always love coming here!! If you love seafood this is your spot! They have shrimp,catfish,oysters,gator,crawfish and more. Its comfort food meets a New Orleans style flair. Its good for the whole family. My favorite plate is the shrimp and catfish plate medium order. My daughter loves their chicken tender salad. That salad is huge!!! “This was the best example of "fine dining" I have experienced in East Texas. Everything about this place is classy and thoughtfully presented. The building itself is upscale, modern, tastefully decorated, well-kept, and very clean. The menu is incredible. The menu is made up of mostly familiar names but the execution shows talent and creativity that I have only ever seen on television. The flavor is equally exceptional. Each dish has its own complete flavor that highlights the main item with perfectly suited complementary flavors. The staff here complete the dining experience. Everyone I encountered was courteous and professional. All of the servers were great and performed at a level befitting a high caliber restaurant. The only downside to our visit is the parking available to the building. We went at peak dinner hours and parking around the building was full and across the street had filled up to the point that only pickup trucks could find a place. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are going out for a special occasion there are few other restaurants in this area that can match Jack Ryan's.”

“First time eating Hungarian food and overall it was really good. I've probably driven past this place a hundred times and just never noticed it. What I liked - Food was obviously fresh and homemade. You can tell they put pride in the food they put out. Everything was well seasoned. - Very friendly people - Very fast service What could be better - I looked at the menu online before coming and most of the things I saw that I wanted to try they didn't have today including something the menu said they have Wednesday through Saturday. A few more options on the menu would be nice. - I really wish they had fountain drinks. Price seemed on the high end for lunch but the quality was definitely there. Saw reviews complaining about the paper plates and plastic utensils but that really wasn't an issue for me. I think if there were a few more options I would have found something better suited for lunch for me personally. Perhaps if they posted on their website or online somewhere what they were offering menu wise that was accurate that would be a big plus. Overall though you should try this place out.”

“The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. The man who took our order was very helpful and even told us about some discounts. It took about 3 minutes for our food to come out which was much appreciated since we had been driving for 7 hours and were hungry and it was 930 pm... while we were eating the main who served us was telling jokes while he was sweeping the floors.
