“We got a buffalo chicken and meat pizza, an order of garlic parmesan chicken wings, and an order of fries. To start, the staff was extremely friendly. Not being the biggest fan of wood fired pizzas, I can say the pizzas were still good. The tomatoes on the buffalo chicken pizza mellowed out any spicyness to an almost sweet taste even my 6 year old could devour. For me, the meat pizza was the better of the two with great flavors throughout. The hand cut fries were delicious and hot. My favorite item at the table was the chicken wings. These wings are not just covered in a "sauce" like some other places. They were cooked and plated with actual garlic and parmesan. The homemade spicy and regular ranch were both great as well. Even though we didn't order any of the salads they did look generous. Even if you're not a wood fired pizza person there are fantastic options on the menu. Personally I'll be looking forward to exploring those options the next time my wife wants some wood fired pizza.”

“Small but hip. No women clothing, just men. Pretty awesome ambience, with beer, and I cannot wait til they finish the outdoor patio. A sight to see, especially in Central Rural Texas...”

Fresh, seasonal produce grown by local farmers, honey, small batch preserves and pickled veggies, unique artifacts, and the best baked goods on the planet! The cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve ever put in my mouth! Their daily lunches are made in house, from scratch. Don’t tell them I told you, but the secret ingredient is love. ? “This place definitely tasted like Mexican. Like Most restaurants don’t anymore. I had a shrimp cocktail the shrimp were clean, vegetables were fresh and it only took 5 min. Staff is friendly.”

“Why is this place so great? Clean restrooms, good soda selection, good snacks. Once upon a time they served Dublin Dr Pepper from the soda fountains. Sadly Dublin NP is no longer with us, but their normal DP still seems to taste superior.”

“Staff is very friendly and helpful and service was great. I wish that the food was as good. It was ok but not what I expected. My chicken fried steak was greasy and had little flavor, the onion rings tasted as if the onions were old and the bread pudding was over cooked and the sauce tasted like the cook couldn't make up their mind to make butterscotch or lemon sauce. If the staff and service want as good as it was, I'd have only given two stars.”

“Stopped for ice cream. Had the Mexican Vanilla and Triple Oreo flavors. Both were delicious. We loved the texture- somewhere between soft serve and regular ice cream. Will definitely go there again!”

“Not bad for Hico Texas. Service is OK....better in slow times. Mexican food and burgers. Salsa is very good...not to hot, a little smokey. Get plenty.... Mexican food is OK....tends to "need something" ....thats why you need plenty of salsa. Dump it on everything and that makes the Mexican food POP a little bit. Best thing on the menu is Chicken Tortilla Soup...add a spoonful of salsa to a cup of soup and you are set. Cup is huge...not sure how big the bowl is....but the cup was filling.”
