Genesis Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Only ate here once on Christmas vacation -- but the menu was fantastic. The service was great. Hubby has a swallowing disorder but he wanted the ruben -- and when it came the meat was butter soft. If I lived in Houston this would be a regular haunt. As it is, we found it a very special place to dine.

Good food, attentive service. They don't have a liquor menu yet so drinks are limited to traditional mixed drinks. Extensive menu, and separate extensive sushi menu. They were accommodating about switching out side dishes from the menu. Pretty reasonable prices for most entrees.

My family and I came here yesterday for the first time, we was celebrating my sister's birthday. The atmosphere is nice, quiet and elegant, the staff is so nice. The price for the food is a tad expensive; but you get what you pay. The food was ok. I started off with the fresh rib taco rolls, which were AMAZING. I originally chose the smoked duckling for my dinner; but had to request something else because, it was salty. The chicken penne was DELICIOUS and sauteed broccoli was also good.

Love this place... They always offer A+ service and their lunch menu is fantastic!

New location. The one in Bellaire is closed name off sign. Had soup of day at bar
with a glass of wine, was delicious. Server was pleasant. I need a different income bracket to return. The people who came to eat all seemed to know everyone, so assume steaks are worth the price.
