Better Luck Tomorrow

1st time trying this spot out after hearing a lot of good things. The drinks were fresh & pretty good but the service was below par. I was there at 4 PM so it wasn't even true happy hour packed yet and it took 10 minutes for drinks to arrive. To cap it off.... their POS system was down and after waiting 15 minutes for my bill, I had to leave and the bartender said they would just charge me 20% like a "walked tab". Unacceptable.

This is a great little bar and i'd like it to stay a secret. The food is just wonderful and and their cocktails are wow.
If that was not enough the staff is just the best, personal, quick and make the experience all the better.

Cocktails are always inventive and delicious. Bartenders can come up with suggestions if you ask and they truly want you to enjoy what they come up with. Food menu changes frequently - we tried brunch this time and enjoyed it. Excellent neighborhood addition!

Totally hipster so that is a preference to keep in mind although the customers range from young adult to older professional with everything in between. Food was a little too greasy for me. Had the patty melt which looked good but so much grease and juice came out when I bit into I automatically felt my arteries hardening. The Lamb Belly is definitely an acquires taste but it was so fried I could taste the grease. I am surprised a hipster place would have food that greasy for some reason but I will say the got a decent drink selection and interesting food options. Service was a little spotty. We sat outside and it was a little bit of a challenge to get our waiter after the initial round. Everyone was friendly though.

My advice - look at the menu before you go.

Small, intimate setting: an old fashioned gas stationed turned bar. The decor is unique and funky! The drinks are strong, so sip slowly! I had a chocolate chip cookie with my Irish Coffee, and that hit the spot! We didn’t get to try the food this time, but we’ll be back!
