The staff and manager seemed super nice!
I would come back just for the awesome hospitality.
I drove by and stopped to get food to go and they didn't take long at all.
My boyfriend had the BBQ and said the taste was great but had some fatty parts to it.
I had the pork sinagang, slightly sour for my taste but with the garlic rice it was good.
I want to definitely come back and try the other options. They looked like they had a really good happy hour and can't wait to try their desserts!
A modern take on Filipino food, more upscale. I love this restaurant/bar. As a half-filipino, I have always dreamed of when a Filipino place like this would open. They also have karaoke rooms for rent and the restaurant has a huge open garage door to let in fresh air. It's a great blend of Filipino cuisine mixed with houston-style restaurant vibes. They have Houstonian beers on tap but they also have San Miguel and Red Horse which are Filipino beers and I would suggest them!
The service was excellent (except our server tried to take the short rib plate away when there was still a rib left on it. Don't touch my meat!) The parking is pretty limited so I could see that potentially being a deterrent in the future. The food was alright. The meat on the dishes we ordered was either extra fatty or extra tough. Our favorite by far was the short ribs. The peanut sauce dish was a bit heavy on the peanut sauce. Not quite what we were expecting. The noodle dish was alright, but the noodles were a bit on the mushy side. My wife and I were celebrating my birthday. We weren't planning to have dessert, but our server offered it to us so we decided to give it a try. Typical ice kachong. The ice cream was good. All the other ingredients were exactly what you'd expect in that dessert. I'm sure we'll be back in the future to try some of the other dishes (and for that short rib).
The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable of the food they are serving. Excellent service!
They have a full bar and make great drinks as well.
The food is delicious and presented beautifully.
There two karaoke rooms that can be reserved and a nice patio for outdoor seating.
Generally a very cool vibe.
I highly enjoyed our first visit! My unreserved recommendation is to get the tater tots - there's a reason those started on a food truck and made it to a brick and mortar.
The staff is very attentive and friendly. I look forward to going back.
