Common Bond Bistro & Bakery - Montrose

What a great find. A friend of mine recommended common bond It was hit and miss for me the pastries we got were delicious except for the scone which was super super dry. The grits were delicious the tomato soup was not, the ratatouille was really really good different than I’m used to but really good. Anxious to try again and make better choices ordered bread sliced they forgot to slice it but the young lady that helped us was really, really nice And we did curbside

First off I have never been to Common Bond before.I walk in and asked a million questions about the different pastries and the extremely friendly and helpful woman working the front counter could not have been any friendlier or patient. The pastries and bread are absolutely amazing I cannot wait to go back and try more things. I will be honest the entrees are a little pricey and simple but good. I really enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich but for $13 and no sides it was probably more than I would pay again. The chicken sandwich that a few people ordered ahead of us looked delicious and I can't wait to go back and try it. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the pastries or desserts

I LOVE this place. I’ve dined in at this location and placed multiple orders to go. Each time was a pleasant experience. Today I picked up a Valentine’s Day cake. It was so cute, and tasted delicious. Shout out to Lee for excellent customer service and getting my custom cake. It came in a nice box and was secure driving home.

Beware that parking is almost nonexistence. They have a small lot in the front but don't count on it. This place is always packed! Your next best bet is street parking. When we walked in, the line was almost out the door. However, it wasn't too bad and it moved quickly. They have every goodies imaginable.

As you go through the line, just point out what you want from the display. They will give it to you on the spot. They have a variety of desserts. A-must is the chocolate chip cookie and the pistachio croissant. The cookies are super chunky with bits of walnuts inside. I love the pistachio fillings inside. Just the right amount of sweetness. The blueberry cheesecake is also a-must with its rich flavors.

There was a few cakes on display, ready to buy. The cakes were beautifully decorated, one of them was a unicorn theme. Great choice for a birthday cake. They also serve lunch and dinner here with coffee and lattes. Water and utensils can be found by the windows. They have a good amount of tables to sit. Overall, I'm loving the baked goods and desserts here. An ideal place for breakfast or brunch.
