(August 14, 2019, 11:13 pm)Definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant to dine in or to go. I've been going here roughly 12 years, since I first moved to the area, and I've never had a bad experience. Their lunch deals are 7 days a week and more than enough food. But their happy lamp beef and eggplant in garlic sauce are what I really find myself craving.

(May 12, 2019, 5:08 pm)Another hidden gem...when I have a craving for Chinese food I only have a few requirements: keep it simple, serve it fresh, serve it hot, and be timely. Happy Lamp fulfilled all requirements. Had the pepper beef and chicken lo mein for dinner. Absolutely delishioso! Also, best egg rolls I've had here in Houston. Not greasy and full of flavors. Customer service was very good too. Food came faster than expected. Price is right for how good the food was and how much u get. Big portions. Return visits 4 sure.
