“Went here for breakfast and had the biscuits and gravy. I have to say it was pretty good now the gravy wasn't like my grandma's but it was definitely good. He let us try the brisket tacos and they were freaking delicious and I will go back. The owner was so friendly and I hope he does well. “Food is worth the money! It’s fresh and price always ends up to be comparable to local fast food spots. Burger meals are cheaper than fast food but with fresh meat! Catfish, Shrimp, Fries, Wings, Salad, Burgers-all delish. Found this place yesterday and have now called ahead to order twice! Food was exactly as we ordered it, ready to go when I arrived. Highly recommend, don’t be intimidated by pricing, its cheaper to feed my family of 4 with their own meal choice than buying a family meal of processed frozen chicken at a popular food chain! They also have a few tables to sit and eat there, very clean appearance in dining and kitchen area. They have a lot of specialty adult beverages to choose from… Hope this place stays around! I’m a fan!”

“Long time classic spot on Lake Houston. The new owners have taken it over the top for lakeside dining and entertainment in a family friendly atmosphere. Love the rebuilt boat docks and stage for live music. As a brewery, they have an impressive selection of great brews on tap as well as wine based cocktails. The food is pretty darn good for a brewpub with a nice selection of items from burgers and tacos to fried and grilled seafood. My favorite is probably the grilled fish and shrimp tacos. We usually take the boat over for the weekend bands, have dinner and make a night of it out in the backyard picnic area.”

“The food was great and out very quickly. Our server Beth was not on her A game. She couldn’t remember anything, got our order wrong, charged us for the wrong order after we told her that’s not what we ordered, screamed about her tip not going through while I waited on my to go box after asking 4 times. I asked her if the burger was good and she said “I would never eat here because I don’t want to spend my hard earned money here”- Good to know. I’m a laid back person but she ruined my first experience there.”

“Nice, quaint, restaurant. Can easily tell, they cater to the local folk. Prices are not bad.. Nice variety of "mild" Mexican food.. Which is good for the person wanting to try Mexican cuisine without the fire truck waiting outside. The staff is very helpful, your glass never gets empty, as the staff is astute.. I had their shrimp empanadas.. I'm not a hellfire eater, so I could actually taste the meal.. Plenty of shrimp, serving size was spot on. Enjoyed the meal, and the kind, accommodating atmosphere.. Stop in, give them a chance to make you a patron. You won't be disappointed.”
