“Everything I ordered was fresh and delicious! I got the Nashville chicken tenders and they were good as well. I decided to order the kale coleslaw, to try a “healthy” item off the menu and it was tasty. My bf had a sandwich and we both had a side order of fries. No complaints with any of the food. I am definitely going back.”

“Few things are as satisfying as a visit to a good sports bar. The atmosphere, the sports viewing, the food, and other extras make the casual vibe of a sports bar something I seek out. One military themed sports bar in the Katy area that I have visited a few times is Bombshells, a chain establishment. Walking inside Bombshells, you are greeted by the hostess who will quickly find you a table or booth in which to sit and soak up the atmosphere. The inside of Bombshells is quite large and I like the many seating options. The outdoor patio is nice also and it comes complete with multiple televisions of its own, to keep guests’ eyes on their favorite sporting event. It can get loud inside, so the patio is a good place to go if you prefer a little less crowd noise and, of course, fresh air. I like the food options at Bombshells. The menu has lots of choices and my family really like the shrimp and the cheese sticks, which are less gooey than others and much easier to eat. I have had good experiences with the burgers, cheesesteak, and other foods, too. So, when all things culinary are examined, Bombshells earns a thumbs up in this area. Where Bombshells falls short is with its beer selection, liquor, and overall service. There are only two or three good beer choices at Bombshells and this really took me by surprise when I visited for the first time. I expected at least a handful of locally brewed craft beers, but no. Subsequent visits turned up the same problem. Why they don’t offer better beer, I do not know. It isn’t like the options don’t exist. The Houston area has a large selection of flavorful, homegrown brew, but Bombshells has decided to ignore this. I had a similar issue with the liquor selection. There are several specialty liquors I expected to find available, but they had none of them. Service is another issue at Bombshells. Yeah, the waitresses are cute and I like the military outfits they wear, but they are completely lacking in basic knowledge of the beer and drinks. They need to be better trained in this area. They also need to be more attentive to the tables they serve. Too often, they will start a casual conversation with guests at one table, completely forgetting there are customers waiting for another drink at their other tables. I love sports bars but Bombshells is a mixed bag. Again, the abundant seating, dozens of televisions, patio, and food are above average, but a good sports bar needs good beer, premium liquors, and knowledgeable staff. Until Bombshells makes these improvements, I can only rate it average overall.”

“Good philly, good options, good fries. I'm hard to impress especially when it comes to beef, it must be edible not chewy. The customer service was good and the restaurant was clean. It's a great ace to chill for a Friday. I'll definitely be back for more.”

“First time and everything was outstanding. Food was piping hot when served and was not overwhelming in spices when ordering medium spice. It was the perfect balance between spice and flavor from the dish. The Dragon Phoenix shrimp and chicken melted as each bite was taken. The fried rice was in balance as I mixed. Desert was an added compliment as the Mango cake was phenomenal. Good price for the quality of the food which was served.”

“The manager was so pleasant when it came to me and my order. Her and her team did everything separate so that I was able to make my long drive home. And for us to put together and wouldn't be soggy. And did so with no complaints and I appreciate it. Me and my family love taco bueno and since we don't have them around here don't mind making the drive just to get great food. And having pleasant people to not be bothered by our strange request is a plus!!!”

“Stopped by randomly to check it out since I had never been here before. Not too crowded for 10am on a weekday. Food came out promptly and was very good. Good flavor, good texture and seasoned to my liking. Service was good - several folks stopped by to make sure I was doing OK. This location is not in my normal route, but if ever in the area for breakfast, brunch or lunch I'll give them another try.”

“This is a wonderful addition to the Katy dining scene, hidden behind the World Theater on Mason Road. The food here is inexpensive and consistently delicious. It is one of the few places to get food later in the evening that is not a fast food chain. Look for the "World Theatre" then go to the back parking lot. The tacos are generously filled with flavourful and well seasoned meat. Unlike at other taquerias, the meat is not over salted. The torta was made with a wonderfully soft bun and just the right amount of sauce. The tomato and lettuce keep the torta from becoming too heavy. The quesadillas were just a little crispy on the outside and had just the right amount of soft gooey cheese to go with the generous portion of meat. The onions on the side were nicely grilled and sweet. The spicy red and green sauces are rich and flavourful. Do not miss out on the charro beans that they include with the meals now. They are rich and meaty with just the right amount of fresh onion and cilantro. They are not on the menu as a separate item but should be. There is a covered area with four (clean) wood picnic tables. The music contributes to a fun vibe while being not too loud to hold a conversation. The owner is always cheerful and clearly wants to make sure you are happy.”

“I'm so glad I found this place. I tried the original burger and it was awesome. I love the special sauce on it. Delicious and with a kick. I have my eyes on the Flappy Jalo Burger next time. And I'm going to have to try those Spicy Garlic Wings too. While the food is really, really good, what makes this place special is the owner/operators who take obvious pride in their food and operation and are just super friendly people. New repeat, loyal customer here.”

“I just want to thank this location for their excellent customer service. I recently went to one closer to home and was mistreated, I immediately thought of this location in comparison. I have been recently going for a free drink for mental health workers not only do I get great drive thru service but I'm also thanked for my service & my order is always what I asked for. Thank you!”

“I’ve enjoyed Cooper’s in Katy several times and can guarantee you I’ll be back for more! The beef rib was phenomenal, best I’ve ever had! The brisket and sausage are fantastic. You can tell they take pride in selecting good quality meat and not taking shortcuts throughout the process. I’m from central Texas and grew up on traditional Texas BBQ. Finally a place in Houston that reminds me of home. The Cooper BBQ Family tradition continues!”

“So glad a good gastropub popped up to replace old Chicago. I really like that it is a small business and not a huge chain. The burgers are delicious, and the fries and fried mushrooms are excellent too. The beer selection is wonderful, the only thing missing is a current draft list, which I'm told is in the works. Great place to go. Will definitely be back.”

“I can't believe I have not written a review for this place till now!!! I absolutely love this place. TLDR: The food is unbelievably good. I first discovered this place in November of 2019. I ordered the brisket nachos and my wife had the chefs special for the week. I was blown away by the food portions first of all. Those nachos were so heavy with toppings! Then I had my first bite and WOW it knocked it out of the park. I have never had such great brisket and the seasoning was wonderful. I promised to be back and I was. Since that first delicious meal I have tried every single thing on their menu and most every chefs special. Not once have I been disappointed! This is food made with love by the owners (which by the way are a brilliant husband and wife team) I now have friends that drive up to 3 hours just for this BBQ at least once a month and other friends that I have to ship to in states as far away as Minnesota!”
