This place SMACKS. I’ve gotten the street tacos and the enchiladas verdes and both taste authentic and made with fresh ingredients. I can say that because I’m Mexican. Also the service is very friendly and the food comes out quick.
Food was good, service was alright but $10 for three small street tacos. I got the chicken and it was pretty good. I liked their green salsa over the smokey red, neither were spicy to me but I did enjoy the flavor of the green. There is a lot of competition for food in this area and for the amount of food you get at the cost, for me personally, there are better options.
Our first time trying this place. We had huevos rancheros, enchiladas verdes and the kids had a quesadilla and a taco de arrachera. Service was great, very attentive and quick. The dining room was very clean which is a welcoming touch. My enchiladas were huge, enough to share. We loved the huevos rancheros with a toasted bolillo, just like Mexico. The food is prepared in an authentic Mexico City style. Don’t go in expecting TexMex. This is Mexico City street food which is delicious. I’m glad we have it close by and I hope everyone gives this restaurant a try, you will get a taste of what it is to eat real Mexican street food. We still have lots more to try on the menu. Can’t wait to go back.
We have gone to this restaurant like 4 or 5 times recently and we have tried most of their items in the menu and everything is delicious. Very good quality and their tortillas are unique since they make them at the moment. Best Horchata in all the restaurants in Houston.
Just tried Taco Inn The Woodlands tonight and this is what we liked about it.
Hand-made tortillas that don’t break! Thank you!
Sopes and huaraches that are just the right size. A red sauce that is really spicy.
Delicious pastor meat, sliced like we like it.
And the churros were freshly made, crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside, deliciously warm, and the cajeta was perfect.
The manager came by twice to check on us.
Service was ok in general. Not spectacular, not too cheap, but pretty decent pastor tacos.
They’ve been open for a month. Will offer beer in a month or two.
We will definitely be back soon to try the chilaquiles and tortas.
