“Surprisingly wonderful. This unassuming little restaurant has got a lot of good stuff going on inside. I met some folks here for a meeting and was immediately drooling from the wonderful smells. I normally get brisket at BBQ places but as I sat and waited for the others in my group to arrive, I saw someone’s baked potato and I knew right away that I had to have one. It was the perfect choice. The potato was huge and cooked just right (some places dry out their taters!) It was packed with plenty of delicious chipped beef and wonderful BBQ sauce. The guy putting it together asked me what I wanted on it and out of sheer ignorance I said “Whatever you recommend.” I’ve got to say that he treated me right. That was a great meal and it was a great price. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We dropped in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. In addition to breakfast tacos, they have a full menu or a breakfast buffet option (much better looking than your average breakfast buffet too). We all ordered chilaquiles with beans and homemade tortillas. The food was DELICIOUS and freshly made. The owners came by to check on us several times and were very friendly. We loved every bite and will definitely be back!”

“This is by far the best Thai food in Spring/Woodlands. Thai is my favorite cuisine and I was disappointed with the mediocre options in the area when I moved here (before Aloy opened). Mint Thai is pretty good, but it's a little far from me and I don't care for the atmosphere. I was so happy when I discovered this place. Aloy and Mint are the only Thai restaurants north of Houston that get it right (and Aloy does it a little bit better).”

“This was my first time eating here and, wow! I loved it! The staff was inviting and friendly. Our waitress was helpful and just so very sweet. Her English was not super great, but I had no problem at all understanding her. On this visit (my first but not my last!!) I had waffles and bacon and my friend had a cinnamon crepe and 10 Russian dumplings that I don't recall the name of. Everything was delicious, tasted like it was truly from scratch, and was piping hot when it came out. The charm of the restaurant oozes with authenticity and I look forward to returning and trying out their lunch and dinner offerings.”

“It was an incredible experience. The tamales are some of the best I've ever had. Their bakery was just as incredible. The only problem was that the coconut cupcakes we bought tasted peculiar, we couldn't swallow it. The cake part was blue and tasted like sour Skittles with a dark aftertaste. However, the cookies n cream and red velvet cupcakes were delectable! I very much recommend this place.”
