“Our weekend getaway was absolutely fabulous at Wimberly Inn. The check in/checkout process was fast, and easy to communicate with the staff. The room was clean, the bar was downstairs, cute library included in the cottage. The town shops are walking distance by the Inn. Star gazing was also a plus on a cold winter night. We will definitely be back during the summer to enjoy the beautiful pool area.”

“Just went here Saturday for the first time. We ordered & shared the guacamole, carne asada & tres leches. Both the food & service by the manager (Carlos?) were outstanding! Can't wait to go back. Margaritas were also tasty & strong. 10 stars for everything. I wish Corazon de Mexico great & continued success, because they most certainly deserve it!! Very highly recommend!!!”

“This is such a cool hangout spot, in a town where everything closes early this is where you wanna be at on a Saturday night. There’s a beautiful big tree in font of the bar and the music was awesome!🎶 I recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it’s super crispy. The Philly cheesesteak was superb… their restroom is groovy with a flashy disco ball 🪩”

“I usually skip gas station coffee because they tend to be terrible and burnt tasting. They have freshly ground coffee here that tastes pretty good. I’m in no way a coffee connoisseur either. Not sure how clean the bathrooms were as I didn’t check them out so I’m only eating this place 4 stars.”

“The pork on the Cubana sandwich was delicious, but the remainder of the meat was quite disappointing. The ham and chips were just store bought and put together. Other than the pork this sandwich was exactly like any numerous ones I've made at home. Not worth the cost, and yes I know food trucks charge more, but often times they find ways to make it worth the extra cost... this experience was not worth the cost.”

“Excellent wine bar. We had originally planned on just stopping in for a glass on our way to dinner but liked the vibe so much we cancelled our plans and stayed. Wonderful live music, the service was great, good wine selection and the food was amazing. We ordered the truffle Mac and chicken karaage, recommend both. Superb evening. “The chef at the bistro is amazing. We stayed for a wedding here and he works his tail off being the only one in the kitchen! Breakfast is amazing and you can tell is very thought out and home cooked. He was up late with the bad crowd making orders and back at sunrise for sit down breakfast plus the buffet on weekends. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and strives to be very successful in his cooking! If you aren't staying at the lodge but near by, Def go for breakfast, you won't be disappointed.”

“Came here on Sunday before we headed back to Austin. They let us bring our dog on the patio and had misters to keep it cool. I had the B.A.L.T (bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato) sandwich which with a side of fries was divine. The sweet tea was perfect and hit the spot on a summer day. My wife had a chicken salad sandwich and enjoyed hers as well. This place is great and we'll be back.”

They are not shy on filling that tortilla. Great taco!!! 4 stars is because there was no salt. I was told that the owner has camera's everywhere inside the store, where he 'creeps' on the employees from his home... but, doesn't do a darn thing about refilling the salt.”

“I have Sunday off so I decided to go to Wimberley Square and try out the new restaurant, Longleaf. The place looks real nice inside. Makes you feel like you're at someone's ranch home. The menu is made up of sandwiches and appetizers, and most of the sandwiches have an olive base. I went in through the first door and it turned out to be the bar. If you don't want to walk through the bar,, go in the second door. There was outside seating as well which, looked really nice. My sandwich came with a either chips or fruit. I went with the fruit and there was plenty of it. The bar has a pretty good crowd, but there are 2 seating sections and one isn't close to the bar area. And, of course there's the outside. My waiter seem to have disappeared but a friendly waitress checked me out fast enough.”
