The beef tips were really good and a coworker really liked the chicken fried steak. The apple cobbler is good. The banana pudding is okay. It reminded me of boxed pudding though. “The atmosphere was a bit dull. We did go for a Lunch on a Friday afternoon, so the crowd is expected to be less. The service was good. The waiter was really kind and answered our questions. There is a large Menu, so I don't really know how the chef prepares everything ahead for dinner or lunch service. One thing was they had food out at a pretty fast rate. Although it was just our table at that lunch time, I felt that they got the food at a pretty quick rate, which made me wonder if they just microwaved my dish and just brought it to me... Regardless of the rate at which they serve, I think this restaurant is worth the food for the price point.”

“My daughter and I stopped in for waffles and crepes with fresh berries. Way better than any I have tried locally elsewhere. The server was friendly and helpful and she checked on us regularly. The place was very quiet and nice for us to sit and visit. I tried a green juice and it tasted very good but I took it to go so I could pour over ice. We decided to definitely go back sometime soon and try lunch food too.”

“The food was good, hot and fast. I ordered the Enchilada plate. Comes with three enchiladas, I got one Beef, one Cheese and one chicken. Comes with Mexican rice and choice of side...I chose refried beans which were spot on. This plate will be ordered again on my next visit. The sweet tea was sweet like it is supposed to be. The chips and salsas were good but a little to hot for the kids. The service was good and fast. Although one of my servers did not seem to understand most of what I said to her...she needs some work on her English. Overall my visit was very good and I will be back.”

“The number of workers is low. I will say though, it is definitely worth the small wait. I like the tempura shrimp and the crab salad and I would most definitely recommend. Everything there is so amazing though. I'm not a big raw fish or fish in general person, but I will eat there salman and tuna spicy or not. They are amazing, but don't waste your money on ordering the drinks. The ice cream is good too.”

“Food quality is easily the best of any buffet in the Golden Triangle area. It's the standard variety that you would expect from a buffet, but everything was fresh and delicious. Try the steamed fish. Soft serve so cold it hardly melts. Drinks stay full. Definitely going back! I have found a new favorite when it comes to buffets!”

“We arrived at lunch and we're instantly meet with a smile. And we we're seated within 1 min of walking in. The interior of the restaurant is what you would think a traditional Texas steak house would be! It was very cozy with the gas fire in the center of the room and the bull horn accents on the lights looked cool. The food was amazing. I believe it was the Texas style Philly cheese steak with steak fries as the side and it was absolutely amazing. My friend ordered a medium rare steak but it came to us medium and not medium rare. That is really the only thing that wasn't perfect here. It's a great spot to grab something to eat, and just chat with family or friends! Definitely will be coming back. And also, ask for extra ketchup because they don't give much.”

“Went to cheddars Friday May 17 2019. Party of 25 we sat in the banquet room after being seated almost 2 hours wait time! Our waitress Olivia came in and conquered her job. She greeted us promptly took our drink orders and food orders, she held a large tray of drinks with no help remembered what each of us had without asking shortly the waitress working with her came and delivered our appetizers they were spot on! Our food was great Olivia was prompt with our refills and any requests we had. Before we cut our cakes she had the dishes cleared and plates for us to eat on. She was prompt with our tickets and they were right the first time! We had a world class experience at cheddars thanks to Olivia! She is excellent at what she does! Even though we were very picky she never stopped smiling even though we know she was overworked dealing with such a large crowd. This is how it should be when you go out to eat and she made us feel very special! KUDOS OLIVIA NEVER STOP BEING WHO YOU ARE YOU ARE GOING PLACES! Cheddars in Beaumont gets 5 STARS!!!”

“Cute restaurant and very friendly staff. I had the sirloin and shrimp with a loaded baked potato and Cesar salad and every single bite was amazing. My boyfriend had the porterhouse steak with vegetables and loaded baked potato and he really enjoyed it. Both our steaks were cooked to perfection just the way we asked for it. I really loved it here and we will definitely be back.”
