“Such a fun vibe. Beautiful views. Live music. $3 white claws. Can’t beat it! I will say..... if you happen to be from a coastal town don’t order the poboy. Being from the Cajun south I was taken aback when they brought me 4 shrimp on a HAMBURGER BUN ? a good laugh none the less. My husband loved his hamburger.”

“Always friendly and quick. I don’t have time for oil changes but had to have one today. They had me completely taken care of in 8 minutes and that included checking my tire pressure, wipers and wiper fluid, and even cleaning my mats! Lee gave me their Ladies Discount which they have on Tuesday’s as well and I’m happy with the price and everything overall.”

“Quality ingredients; you can see them make your order and they use real fruit and fresh greens (not syrups and powders). I’ve had only excellent service and seemed quick even though there were orders ahead of me. Highly recommend!!!”

“Convenient location right off the interstate.. Best price in the area for gas. Lots of pumps with easy access, quick friendly service inside at the counter. Easy in, fill up, easy out. Can't ask for better than that for a quick pit stop. Although I did not try the food, there was a pleasant aroma in the store that smelt delicious. Lots of people buying food and drinks so I assume it's good.”

“Come for the food. It's the closest to home made Mexican you can find and it's excellent. I ordered the bistec ranchero which came with rice, beans, and two huge home made tortillas. Can't beat it! It's easy to find on Franklin Ave. It don't look like much from the outside but it's the food and the pleasant efficient service that will have you coming back for more. 5 stars”

“This week was our first time in Waco, Texas and also our first time to try Diamondback’s. We felt it would be similar to Salt Grass but it exceeds Salt Grass in every way (including the price.) I was a little shocked at the price of 2 extra shrimp on top of a New York Strip steak order. $11.99!!!!! My husbands order alone with one appetizer of two crab cakes, 12 oz steak with 2 shrimp and a drink was $86!!!!!! If you want excellent food and amazing service then just be willing to stomach the price. From my salad to the last few bites of my Shrimp Tempura Roll it was all quite delicious. Staff is exceptional. Food is amazing! Price... it’s overpriced. Shrimp is shrimp. I wish we could remember our waiters name. He was soooo good.”

“Service was good. Avocado on toast was fine. Good sized portion. I ordered a side of bacon and chocolate croissant for my 11year old. Half of a piece of bacon was burnt to a crisp and the chocolate in the croissant was hard as a rock. Pastry surrounding it was dry. I’d come back but most likely I’d stick with the egg dish or pancakes.”
