“5 Stars all the way! The food was simply exquisite. My sister and I ordered the sampler appetizer and each of us ordered one of the main meals. Every bite was scrumptious. The portions were large and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. We will be back again. 😋”

“Excellent iced tea. I got the Mason-Dixon, and honestly, it was about like a sweet tea, for me. I know in the south it's "how much tea do you want in your sugar," and AlabamaSTC definitely follows through with that concept. I love the mason jar. Just wish we could have gotten it home in our bag.”

“Thanks be to God for all HE provides for us each and every day! I am so blessed to have been lead to this place and met all the wonderful staff and owners. From the youngest to the oldest they all were super! The food was stupendous! I tried the pupusas with the pickled cabbage(curtido) and salsa, they were on point as I remember from my younger years, I was taken back! It was an honor and a blessing. I shall continue trying and enjoying new dishes as I venture into waco more regularly and share God's truth with these wonderful people Gid has put in my life.”

“The customer service was amazing!! Instantly welcomed as I walked in! The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because they didn't really have many options... You could choose between chicken, pork, or veggies. I'd like to consider myself a vegetarian, but on the occasion I will try some seafood. My boyfriend enjoyed the Honolulu chicken he ordered, so that is great, but for someone with my diet not exactly anything special. The competitor in the area definitely has more options.”

“pretty damn good food , I like the concept. white dude at the register with the ponytail was really cool and explained me well what the food was and what my options were. would give five star but homeboy in the kitchen with the glasses needs to work on his attitude but other than that pretty good food”

“Butter My Biscuit Cafe. I was extremely excited about this cafe as the pictures look outstanding and conceptually, it’s not something I have personally seen. First the pros: I loved the hostess. She was working hard and was definitely on her a-game while being polite at the same time. The biscuits were on my top 5 of all time favorites. They were nice and tall and gooey inside. Just how I like them. My wife liked the strawberry jam. Unfortunately, that’s about where it stopped. There were so many things about this restaurant that left me wanting more for them. With some stronger management techniques, some sharpening of the systems and efficiencies, the desire to grow and with some QC changes, Butter My Biscuit could be a nationwide chain. They’re only a couple of clicks from there - but I’m not sure if it’ll happen or if they want it to happen. The presentation is a cool concept, but I left saying to myself that I love to mix my food together but I’m the one who loves to do it. I think there could be a creative way to make it look mixed but give the person the ability to still have control over what they want to do with each type of food. If that balance could be found, I think it could be a home run. I agree with the complaints about the cleanliness. The restaurant is due for a major professional cleaning from the walls to the floors. I’m usually not phased by cleanliness, but it’s really borderline. Finally my only food complaint was the gravy. I’m not sure what exactly the grey liquid they provided was, but it was a 1/10. There was no sausage in it and it was like water. Gravy should be thick and chunky. If they addressed that item alone, it’d put them in another category. Try this restaurant. The core of it is excellent. I can tell the owner has this restaurant close to their heart. But, there’s major room for growth and improvement. It’s up to them if they want to seize it…”

“Every place in town is trying to recreate what Nathan has done at In The Woods with his BBQ. The meats are fantastic and the sides are worthy of a meal in themselves. The presentation is on point and Nathan will take good care of you. My husband and I enjoyed a great conversation with Nathan and his daughter as well. A wonderful experience. Easy to get to, good parking, and the best BBQ!! I highly recommend.”

“Ate here for the first time and it was FANTASTIC! Had spaghetti with mushrooms, hubby had spaghetti with meat sauce. Also had salad and rolls. Everything was delicious and HUGE portions. Lots of leftovers. Staff was very friendly and helpful with polite attitudes (a rare thing these days). From an Italian, I very much recommend!”
