“It really was good food, but typical of many breakfast places I have been to. I order a side of 2 pork sausage patties and she brought me 4 then charged me for it. Other restaurants that serve the same typical breakfast in Houston is about a third less price for 2 people. That's why I only gave it 4 stars.”

“I enjoy it there when I got the free time they cook it right cuz they wants to give good quality. They play fun family friendly music and it's out of the ordinary for hondo it's like Aztec restaurant near the movie theater. They made something simple to be amazing inside and they cook everything to be home made The cook often likes just smile and wave and the waiters try so hard to meet everyone's requests even when it's so busy during the day. They often make my favorite dish which is bacon bullets the peppers are really hot from how I make them but I am so glad that they stuff them with as much cream cheese and give Ranch to cool the spiciness and then make frappes which is like an iced coffee it's really delicious on one of those special days to treat yourself”

“I was having mixed feeling about this place from hearing different types of reviews. But I can actually say that I enjoyed it! I had the chicken fried chicken with mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes. It was spot on! The cook Chris really outdid himself. My waitress Chelsea was amazing. Constantly asking if everything was okay. The hostess always with a smile. Will definitely come more often if I’m in town!”
