“Great food! I got the special, 6 shrimp and fish. The shrimp were large size and in a mixture of cornmeal and flour type of breading. The fish was Drum fish in a cornmeal type of breading, nicely fried where the tips were crunchy but the fish was not over fried. The waffle fries could have been a little better and not just placed in the tray for the fish and shrimp to drain. Very professional way of ordering, given a restaurant beeper that vibrated when food was done. Only one man managing the front slipping behind the door to grab orders.”

“Had a cool dive bar vibe, but could have used a good deep clean. My husband said that the men's bathroom had poo everywhere and toilet wouldn't flush. This is a smoking establishment, luckily it was too crowded and not many smokers near us. Bar tender was friendly. Tap beer could have been colder but prices were reasonable, unlike a lot of other places that take advantage of non-locals. Haven't tried any food, maybe next trip.”

“In a town where businesses often struggle to find good help, Grumbles is one of just a handful of restaurants that is really well run. We loved everything about our visit in May of 2022. The view of the harbor is great. The place is very clean. The food and service are excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food came out very quickly, and the young bus staff promptly cleaned up tables when guests would finish their meals. The menu items are not exactly cheap, but they are similar to what you find at other good restaurants in Port A.”

The first time I ordered chicken and broccoli I got 4 cups worth. Today I only got 2 cups worth. A little dissappointed. Don't know if I'll be back.”
