For entre, had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich grilled with sweet potato fries...chicken was grilled to perfection and the buffalo sauce, though messy, was on point! The sweet potato fries had a little charred taste, but good nonetheless. Callie, my server, was kind, quick and professional. “Cheery Mexican restaurant in downtown Royce City. Parking is limited on main but there is smoke parking on the side streets etc. They have a very large menu and plenty of drink and dessert options. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Chips and multiple hot sauces are very good. Food was good but not exceptional. Wait staff was friendly and informative. Recommend.”

“Very nice inside! Very new and well maintained location. Food was hot, came out quick and was as ordered. Employees were respectful, nice and seemed very happy. I would recommend this location. “First of all, dining room is very nice and mostly busy in weekends so reservation in advance will be required. Secondly, it is totally worth it! Warm service, excellent food .I would recommend to try their pizza which was remarkably good. Strong recommendation! Great value for your money! “This location can be hit or miss. The ice cream is always on point but the regular food is inconsistent. I've had good fresh burgers here and I've had burgers that were cold and tasted like they had been sitting. The chicken dumplings are good when they have them but they tend to run out a lot especially in the evenings. The tacos are usually good and fresh!”

“I want to recognize two employees. Zach is a young guy that is very polite; they were out of an item and he immediately offered to have it ready for us, it was less then 7 minutes wait. He finished our order in a timely manner and was very respectful and nice. The other is, a young lady; Gladys. We were asking about an item, it was extra charge so we decided not to buy, but she nicely offered a sample so we would at least taste it. She was very nice overall and I was pleased with my visit. The place is always clean, and food is fresh.”

“Amazing staff and great food. I came in to grab something quick to eat with my mother. It wasn't that busy but the staff here were really nice! They went around offering to take away any trash, come refills, or extra ketchup. I ordered to go and they brought the food over and brought over a tray of ketchup that we could grab some and take. It was a nice experience that you don't get from most fast food places! ????”

“After seeing the TV commercial with the Reuben sandwich, I just had to go and try one for myself. While it wasn't quite the 'stack of sandwich ingredients' as shown on the tube, it was sufficient. I found the rye bread Reuben Sandwich (with a side of potato chips) to be fairly well prepared and good tasting. If I have a hankering for another Reuben, I'll consider returning.”

“Just discovered little Taco Shop near Fate, TX on the HWY 66 on the way to Royse City. The FM 1138 is the corner in front, where the Exxon Gas pumps are. This is next to MO's Store Exxon, has a Drive-Thru window on side of building, more like a Drive-up & Wait. A big menu including many Mexican foods to go Tacos, Burritos, Tortas... They also have a table out front, and a couple inside for customers to relax. Taqueria La Flor.”
