The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Cityview

This was a great place for diner, but it is now closed. If you want to eat at a THE KEG restaurant you now have to goto Arlington or Los Colinas to enjoy the quality food and atmosphere of THE KEG! Real shame the City View location closed as my wife and I ate there several times a month because it was near our house. It was nice not having to go downtown or near downtown for a quality meal in a quality atmosphere! You'd think City View and Hulen area would have a fine dining establishment, but it seems they've mostly closed and or relocated...
Eddie V's or the Silver Fox are now our two most popular places to dine outside of downtown Fort Worth.

Very comfortable night dining atmosphere. Fireplaces, corner tables, and secluded couples seating. Dark as a nightclub, expensive drinks and entrees.

Denise, our server was very attentive without being annoying as servers in so many other restaurants can be. She watched and gauged when to ask how we were doing as not to interrupt my wife and I conversation. Denise engaged is pleasant conversation following our lead. She made my wife's 50th birthday a great experience. The food was wonderful as always. The support staff we encountered was also professional, courteous and pleasant.

Spent way more than we normally would on dinner; but it was worth every penny! Decided to try The Keg just a few miles down the road on our anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Peppercorn NY strip was fantastic; but I think the bacon wrapped scallops stole the evening. Great service from Trey. Will definitely go back
