“I have celiac disease and I know I can go here and enjoy a sandwich (with gluten free bread of course) like everyone else in my group. The care they take to ensure that my gluten free sandwich is handled properly is amazing. They always change their gloves before starting my sandwich and lay down a fresh paper wrap. One person handles the sandwich all the way down the line ensuring no one else that has handled a regular sandwich touches my meal. They are even make sure to not take my meat and cheese off the top of the stack. We go out of our way to eat here passing other Subway shops along the way.”

“Great ice cream and candy parlor in historic Grapevine. It is a perfect addition as it fills a much needed ice cream spot for tourists. My favorite is the coconut, but they were out today unfortunately. I decided to try the New Orleans Pecan Praline. So glad I did! The pecans were perfectly candied. My wife had the Blue Moon, which was kinda like vanilla and cotton candy. The kids would like it for sure. My only complain is the lack of seating, but there is a park across the street.”

“Update: Had dinner here again last night and I swear it gets better every time. Their food is excellent and their servers are the best. Each visit our waiter tops the one before when I thought that it would be impossible to do. ********************************** This was my first time eating here and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Unfortunately, I started eating before I could take some pictures. I used to get a PF Chang's frozen meal from walmart that I absolutely LOVED but it disappeared and I've went without for 4 years. After seeing the restaurant on the service road I decided to see if they had my favorite meal on the menu and they did. It was perfect and I can't wait to go back. I don't remember our server's name but we ate in the bar so he was also a bartender. He was PERFECT and deserves a HUGE raise. I'll only go back to eat there if he is working. I'll pull our my receipt and find his name to post in the next day or so. The food was great, yes! But our server/bartender is the reason why we are definitely coming back soon! ????????????????????”

“I have eaten here twice at lunch. I loved my meal. The house salad that comes with the meal is fabulous and come with olives, feta and a great house dressing. I had the chicken Alfredo the first time and lasagna the second. Both were great, but I think I liked the Alfredo better. The meal come with pieces of garlic bread which is a nice addition. The atmosphere was nice if a bit loud. They do have private rooms for gatherings which might be quieter. It is right in Main Street Grapevine so before of after the meal there is plenty to do and see. I highly recommend it!”

“Tolbert's is a neat place to go to in downtown Grapevine if you're wanting to have a good time and drink. Every time I've been there, there's really cool bands playing. Lots of 70's and 80's cover bands, but they're always AMAZING. I always have a great time watching the performances. The crowd is always older (not a ton of younger people there), and it's super entertaining watching them dance in front of the bands. Definitely a non-judgmental crowd. It's normally pretty crowded in the restaurant part, so I usually sit in the bar area at the high tops. Beer selection seems good. Food is decent. Service is usually good. The only thing is it's normally super loud, so you have to yell over each other to have a conversation. Otherwise, it's definitely one of the funnest places in downtown Grapevine in my opinion.”

The review is based on food, atmosphere, and service. Two occasions service was great. Atmosphere was different because I went with different people at different times of the day. I prefer the evening. Even though it was crowded, we opted to sit outside where we were waiting so we could get served faster. Our waiter was excellent, food was great, and overall it was a great evening. The other two times, it was lunch, service once was fair, the other good. It was very loud sat right in the middle of the room once with the fair service. My fish was blackened, too salty. Otherwise, food has been great. Other time, atmosphere good.”

“Very nice patio, waitress was great, but the food wasn't my favorite. I ordered the fried mushrooms and the steak salad. Fried mushrooms were pretty good and there were plenty. The steak salad was just okay. My steak was definitely not med-rare but I also understood that this was not a steakhouse. The atmosphere was chill. I could tell that the patio is the hot spot because people were hunting for chairs to sit on like the last loaf of bread on the shelf at a grocery store right before a blizzard hits. The dessert.. So much disappointment. Skip it. Next time I'll try another dish.”
