5280 Burger & Taphouse

Awesome new addition to the neighborhood! There was something for everyone - we saw families with kids, young folks watching football in the bar area, quiet date nights and everything in between. We drank shaketinis from the milkshake bar and started with the loaded fries, and everyone was super happy with their burgers. I had the “perfect burger” and it definitely lived up to its name. Can’t wait to come back!

Good selection of burgers and salads. This was our first time to dine in and the service was very friendly and our experience was pleasant. My wife and I split the seared tuna and a salad and that was perfect. Our table shared a basket of truffle fries. These were served with a house made ketchup that was good and a too thin white sauce that left much to be desired. The fries were supposed to be truffled, but we couldn't tell (Austin Terrier is still the winner for truffle fries).Cocktails were nicely prepared and affordable. For take out earlier this week, the perfect burger and strawberry fields salad were perfect for sharing at home.

Went there a couple of nights after they opened so definately some grace for new staff and routines.

Most importantly the drinks were great. Great beer choices and good margheritas. Really tasty and plentiful. The little bar area is well setup for a quick. Neighbourhood drop in for a quick drinks

The burgers were great and we appreciated their awesome gluten free buns and even impossible burgers for the vegetarians. The fries were good and the large is easily enough for 3 people.

The main bad for the night is that because of the quite small space it was incredibly loud. Not a little loud, but rather constantly the person across from you to repeat themselves. Crazy loud.

We'll definitely be back but will opt to sit at one of the outdoor tables to avoid the noise. But otherwise the food, drinks and service (thanks Leo!) Were awesome!

Attended the grand opening last night with high hopes. The staff was welcoming and friendly. There are several TVs placed througout which is great for spots. Great outdoor patio and a good amount of parking spots. It was the burgers that were the issue. I completely understand the logistics to hosting an event of this size, but what is served, should be the best it can be. One was ok, it needed seasoning and was a little on the cold side, the second burger was pretty raw on the inside. I am absolutely gonna give it another try. I have seen some of the pics, and several gorgeous burgers that were delivered to a lucky few last night. Keep you posted

Tasty food. Cold beer. Excellent service.

Went to the soft opening where they were testing out service and had complimentary meals. They were busy but service remained excellent.

The bacon jam burger was excellent, nice and juicy. The truffle fries basket was a good sized for a shareable appetizer. The kids liked the fries and their hotdogs.
