Bao'd Up - Modern Asian Eats - UT West Campus

The times I've been here the Bao have been pretty good, I especially love the egg custard bao. Overall its not a bad place to snack at

I was super excited to try this place after seeing it on so many Austin food blogger's posts. I really wanted to try the seasonal pumpkin bao, too. With covid, they are only doing pick-up/to-go orders. I could have checked the bag when I got it there, but all bao looks generally the same from the outside. They gave me the wrong bao. I emailed them and they told me they would give me a refund for the incorrect item but never did. I also got the noodles with fried chicken on top and was unimpressed. The taro milk tea was decent though.

Edit: They refunded my whole order and gave me a $10 gift card, so that helps. I'll be trying it again.

Food tasted great! The service was pleasant and speedy. I thought the meet was lacking. I would have loved more meat in the meal.

Bao'd Up was a very nice first experience for me. We got the family pk to have a variety of selection and every single item was pleasing to my palette. I will add this establishment to my top places to dine when visiting my daughter at UT Austin. The tea was the bomb! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
