Can't give a half star, but I rate this location a 3.5.
We've been to Bob's all across Texas (Downtown Austin, Dallas, Frisco) and this one still needs some 'polishing' to catch up to the others. Some comments:
1) Wait staff was nice but you could tell they were new. The staff member that was topping off our water said 'I just learned how to pour water without spilling it.'
2) The acoustics are bad and the restaurant is very loud (it's one big room).
3) The drinks aren't quite as good as the other locations.
4) The carrot was not edible because it was swimming in the glaze.
5) Steaks were typical Bob's = fantastic. This is what saved the rating imo
6) Location is very easy to get to.
7) Some patrons were dressed very casually and brought down the 'feeling' that Bob's typically has (there were a few people in hats and t-shirts). This was probably an effect of being located at a resort where travelers don't pack nice clothing.
All in all, we both walked away with the same thought 'we will take the extra time to visit the downtown location next time we want Bob's.'
