Grimaldi's Pizzeria

Blake & Keith were good company at the bar, and the ambiance was exactly what I was looking for on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a 12 inch Pepp & Mush which hit the spot. I like the texture of the coal fire pizza crust and will come back to try some more toppings. I didn't give all the stars because the dough was a little floppy for my taste.

I had the 4 cheese chef pizza. It was the best pizza I have ever had. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. I'm also from Chicago. The crust is so good I can't stop thinking about it. Amazing!!! I had a mint julep while I waited that was average. The pizza is wonderful

Somewhat disappointing, as the pizza at this new location seemed different than I remember it at other Grimaldi's. Our pizza this visit was overcooked (too crispy; folding a slice caused it to crack) and did not have enough cheese. The dough and sauce flavors were good though and consistent with how I remembered it. I grew up in the Philly/NJ/NY region and this style of pizza is my favorite. Hopefully, my experience was due to growing pains of a new location, because we desperately need more places with REAL east coast pizza in this area.

Look I’m not gonna lie, it must have been a rough night at Grimaldi’s. Pizza took a hell of a long time to come out but our wait person, Falcon, was an angel. They made sure one of our pizzas was comped, was personable and professional the whole time, was honest about what would taste good and what might take time, and was generally awesome. The food and drinks were mad yummy, and even the person who showed us to our table was kind and helpful. Every single human we interacted with made our experience (a big as heck bachelor/bachelorette party) fun, easy and yummy. Literally the biggest props to the wait staff for being flexible and kind no matter what was happening in the kitchen. They all deserve a raise.
