Llama Kid - Peruvian Food

I am from Dallas. Coming back from San Antonio I searched for Peruvian food and I liked the reviews about this place. I used to think that the best Peruvian food of the south belonged to Florida. I can proudly say that I was wrong, the best Peruvian food of the south is in Texas, to be specific in Austin…. Llama Kid is not your typical Hispanic place. It is a Peruvian business, running by Peruvians, served by Peruvians and the chef also Peruvian. I was amazed by the flavors accomplished in every dish, it was worth the driving time and every dollar spent. Anybody that appreciates Peruvian food must stop at this restaurant, you won’t regret it.

The food was simply divine coupled with great service! Highly recommended. This newly opened place has the makings of a soon-to-be Austin favorites. Shout out to Maria who waited on us and made some excellent recommendations. Closing words...get the Cheesecake!

Ordered everything Trent recommended from drinks through to desserts. It was amazing! So much care and flavor in every dish! What is in that hot sauce!? Amazing! If you think the food won’t live up to the hype try it! It will “Peru-ve” you wrong!

Wow, the food here is impeccable. I came to Austin, TX because my wife and I love live music and vegan styled food. The restaurant isn’t a vegan restaurant so we weren’t expecting many options but we were blown away. The service was off the charts too and we can’t wait to come back and eat here. The chef greeted us at the end and was super nice. Thank you so much!

Every time We go to Llama kid We have an uniquely delicious experience. All menu items are home runs, the space is beautiful, and the staff is the most hospitable and kind. This food was absolutely incredible! The taste combinations were unreal, like what did we just eat? By far one of the most impressive dining experiences We had in a long time. Food, service, and atmosphere were all flawless.
