My wife and I had a great experience here last Friday for my birthday. The service was attentive but subdued appropriate for dinner and the place is incredibly vibrant and heavily decorated with accompanying decor. The level of food options are plentiful enough to warrant a second and perhaps third return for full satisfaction. I'm not sure there is an item that doesn't sound delicious. Oh, and they left a hand written birthday card on the table for me which was a nice bit of class. Thanks everyone
It was rated one of the best in Texas, gave it a try and agree. Great food, great atmosphere and the staffing is spot on. Blake took the time to explain the menu since it was our first visit. Also, the staff plays a zone defense so you wont feel abandoned if you need any assistance. We dined on a Tuesday, the restaurant and bar were about 75 to 80 percent capacity. Definitely make reservations.
This place rocks. Beautifully decorated/great vibe, wonderful service, tasty/unique drinks, absolutely delicious dishes. Definitely captures that 'Austin' feeling so we need to keep them around for good.
From the Chef of Lenoir, his take on food from Goa. We had the shrimp samosas (great) and the pork buns (okay). The pork ribs vindaloo were fantastic. I am not sure how the meat stayed on the bone as the rib traveled to my mouth. The crispy fish was also very good. The problem is that the very spicy ribs came out before the more delicate fish. If you get this combo make sure you have them serve the fish first. Service was excellent. Crowded on a Monday night with no big show in town so reservations might be smart. Nice bar in the same space. The flat bread was amazing. Think butter. Sorry about the missing rib my wife couldn’t wait.
Vixen's Wedding restaurant in East Austin is an excellent foodie dining spot that features intensely flavorful and visually inspired food of Goa, India, Portugal and the state of Texas.
