“I was pleasantly surprised by this food truck and amazing food options. I tried the adobo sliders, elote and the fries, and everything was on point. Definitely worth the visit!”

“Came out on a Friday evening around 7:30 and the place was packed! No parking available. I think some of my friends parked at the USPS nearby that was closed, not sure if that's alright. You have to order your food through a QR code or NFC on your table that directs you to download an app called Union. I cannot express how bad this app is. Not only is it laggy, it also doesn't accept prepaid visas. Having to install an app just to order is ridiculous. Some of my table were able to get away with using some web interface but on Android, I was redirected to the app download every time. I guess I went on their opening weekend or right after it? Either way, most of the beers on draft were listed as sold out. Their fried cauliflower was also sold out. I ordered the burger and tater tots and my partner got the chicken tenders and fries. The rest of our table got different things like the sausage. There was no rhyme or reason for how orders came out. I ordered my drink first but got it last. My partner's chicken tenders came out 10 minutes before my burger, and it took another 14 minutes for the rest of the food to come out. All in all, we waited 35+ minutes for our table's food. The burger itself was alright. Heavy on the pickle. Tater tots were nice and crispy. I don't like how they serve ketchup packets with the meal. My partner's chicken tenders were pretty dry. Overall, a great spot to meet with friends and have a drink or play pickleball (if you reserve a court), but I wasn't a huge fan of the food or service.”

“Brunch here was so good, highly recommended. We got the Paloma and Bloody Mary for drinks and they were made perfectly. From the chips, to the entrees, to the tamales we got to go, everything was exceeding expectations and was super delicious. We will definitely be back and we are so excited to have a new restaurant in the area!”

“SO GOOD! First time visiting, the lady who helped me was super nice with explaining odd to me flavors. They let me test a few flavors too before I got the Orchid Vanilla with cream. The “sno” is legit! Not that crunchy shaved iced but soft and super satisfying! Also I thoroughly appreciate how patient the ladies were with me. I am awkward and sometimes when indecisive can seem uncomfortable so thanks for being so chill about my questions and for being so personable. :)”

“Any chance to eat elevated Hispanic food is a good one and I had high hopes coming here after having been to their sister restaurant ATX Cocina, yet I couldn’t help but feel that they missed the mark a bit more than I would’ve thought: - Carne Asada was way too salty and we mentioned this to the server andddd nothing came of that - though the char flavor was fantastic - These were crispy on the outside which is fine in itself, yet the menu didn’t mention this as I would’ve preferred the corn tortillas to be soft - Mixto Pibil was good, but nothing special though for $36 I had higher expectations Though not everything was bad, their Borracho Snapper and Sope Del Fuego dishes were easy 10/10s. They even had this boozy off-menu horchata you can order and I was shook with how good it was. Interior is pretty nice and I do like the low-lit ambiance. Normally I’d give them a 4/5, but the service I received was just so bad and so slow. Took about 20+ minutes just to order drinks! So with that said, I must give a 3/5, but perhaps if I come back I could give them another chance to re-evaluate because there is a lot of potential here.”

“Visited on a Wednesday evening. Upbeat, trendy atmosphere. Great service. Bummed I didn't get a picture of our food, but the beef and chicken enchiladas and steak fajitas were very good. Their mojito and standard margarita were yummy! There was a guy playing guitar and singing solo that we enjoyed. Women's restroom was very clean and nicely renovated. We miss Bashaws, but we were happy they've renovated this space so nicely! Thanks Catrina's!”

“Pickup only. I think you are supposed to order ahead. I didn't know what I was at first. Once I got it, I was even more excited about the food. I ordered the nachos and they did not disappoint. Super loaded and full of flavor! The chef was very friendly. The only downside was that half of them were soggy once I got home, but that was to be expected. They came with utensils, though :)”

“The customer service here was amazing. Went for my first time ever and the store manager took her time with me. Was so patient while my roommate and I tried to figure out what we wanted. And let me tell you! There is a difference between custard ice cream regular ice cream! It’s so much better. And way better service than most place I been to”

“The tamales are small, but there are a lot of varieties. I liked the spicy chicken ones. It was good. You can also get some samples before buying a dozen. It’s only to go and no dine in. The people working there were sweet.”

“Probably the best food truck in the court. I’m a huge fan of the Gorditas, and I highly recommend with a side of Chiles. Although, their salsa game is inconsistent. I will stay loyal to this truck and this truck only as long as y’all’s salsa stay spicy and delicious!! Seriously, great food but the salsa is a bit lack luster.”

“One Hot Tamale 🫔 Highlights: •Variety of fillings •Oja de Platano •Champurrado Review: This spot is serving fresh and hot tamales with variety of fillings. I have tried all their variations, but my personal favorites are the tamales in plantain leaf with chicken or pork fillings. The chicken is tossed in a green tomatillo and pepper sauce which really turns up the heat. The pork tamale however, is made with smoked red peppers which really highlights the protein. I recommend trying this spot out because good tamales are hard to find, I can’t wait to try their seasonal drinks. Rating: 8/10 Poblano and cheese Tamal Pork Tamal”

“I love that we keep getting these new food trucks to the Dessau location. The Antojito Hondu-Mex serves Honduran plates and Mexican food. There is a separate menu for each country. I've only have tried the Enchiladas Hondurenas and it was delicious. I talked to the owner Alex and his wife and they are extremely friendly! I was told that they will be adding a credit card payment method in the future, but for now is cash only.”

“Absolutely love this place! The garlic fish sauce wings were some of the best food I've ever had, they're very quick with bringing the food out, and the staff is super polite. The worst thing I can say is that this place is way too close to where I live, because I will definitely be back often.”

“My first time there and I enjoyed everything! The white sangria paired well with everything I sampled. Our server, Anna was very friendly and attentive. (It is a little funny looking out the window and knowing people now swim in the quarry You absolutely never should, but I am not here to describe it's past.) Delicious pizza, especially the alote! Ooo, & I had a bloody mary for dessert.”
