“Food was fine but not very flavorful and watery. Very similar to mo bettahs. I like the chicken here better than mo bettahs. The drink size is one size and its too small. Workers rather be on their phone instead of cleaning tables. It was slow when i came in. The brown rice was not as good as mo bettahs. Paid $20 for 1 meal and a drink. The ice in the fountain machine was good. For 5 stars - repaint side wall, clean better and offer larger drinks and better cups. Add more flavor and punch to the food.”

“Pretty cool find in North SLC! Lots of staff for very quick service. Entire meal from start to finish was easily under 30 minutes. We ordered the birria, shrimp, hatch chille, and carne asada tacos. All were really great. The loaded fries were super cheesy! Would have loved thicker fries to better handle the toppings. The kid’s quesadilla was a good buy for our little one. The burrito was massive, but very flavorful! The sopapillas weren’t that good, but they were free so we won’t complain! Will absolutely be back!”

“Worth a stop! It’s run by 3 kind, Latina women. They have tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tortas with 10 different meat/protein options that range from traditional beef, chicken and carnitas all the way to stomach, tongue and head. They also allow you to add your own additional toppings (onions, pico, guac, salsa, cilantro, onion, etc…) so you can control the rations and distribution- then they roll it up for you. Nothing worse than going to a fast casual spot and having pockets of the different ingredients vs a well balanced and mixed portion of each. I got a carne asada burrito. It was definitely enough to fill me up. For some it would probably be 2 meals worth. It was really tasty. Glad I went - I’ll definitely be back!”

“Dive burger joint. Great food, huge portions, and reasonable prices. However the building has seen better days. Dining room is a bit run down and grimy. Water stains on ceiling tiles, and chunks missing from dining room furniture. If you lean on booth table you will end up with line of old dirt, grime, and grease on your shirt, so don't. Tables and chairs in the back are a better option, and a decade or two newer. Burgers and sandwiches are very tasty, and talk about generous portion. Large fries are humongous. See the photos. Building gets 3 stars, and food 5 stars, so I average it to 4 overall.”

“This is first visit to North Salt Lake’s R & R and right when I walked in, I was like WOW! Definitely an upgrade from SLC’s branch. The ambiance is casual and it’s way more spacious. They do have an outdoor seating area as well. The food is great. We had the two meat plate and we added a half order of wings (naked). The brisket is oily and perfect balance of fatty and meat. I like my BBQ meat oily, tender and juicy- which the brisket is! The seasoning dry rub on the ribs were tasty but I wish they are the fall off the bones kinda ribs. The wings were definitely a nice surprise! The skin was somewhat crisp and it was seasoned well despited being “naked”. The only thing I would change is the fries. It was definitely a poor choice for take out as it became cool and limpy when we got home. But that’s on us :)”

“Had code for completing customer survey previously. Was not given a choice of sides but automatically assigned french fries. (I should have been given a choice of paying for one out of three or four entrees. But bought fries, trusting cashiers knowledge.) These small broken pieces of fry were cold because I had to go back to ask for catsup. Was dining in the restaurant and there was no pump ketchup. I would believe that they should ask if you want ketchup or automatically put one or two in the bag. When you order a meal the deduction given for your survey is not the full price of a Whopper, as lead to understand. But is the tiniest amount possible... charging you full price for the fries and drink and the savings on the combination meal is taken by the restaurant. Unfun... particularly because my mother wanted a Whopper and we drove 15 minutes southwest, from Bountiful, to find her a Burger King. Employee voice was upsettingly loud. Relieved when we left counter. Too bad she roamed from front door to restrooms 'conversing' steadily. Ouch especially for elderly with hearing aides.”
