Sweetwater Kitchen

Splendid surprise in the desert. It’s a little out-of-the-way, but well worth the drive. It’s even a more incredible experience if you can spend the night. The restaurant is phenomenal, and the adjacent lodging accommodations are lovely. It was a welcomed restful night after being in the desert for a few days camping. The staff was phenomenal, and the trout taco absolutely blew me away!

While it was a bit of a journey to reach the restaurant, it was absolutely worth it! They have a strong grasp on farm to table cuisine with a friendly local feel. You may be in the absolute rural corners of Utah but they maintain an approachable atmosphere. There's certainly something special about eating truly fresh and local food and that magic is obvious in Sweetwater's dishes.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Sweetwater Kitchen and their staff. We have had dinner here after some long days of hiking in the area, and last year held a family wedding party dinner and morning brunch here. Beautiful views, 5 star food, and the entire staff were a joy to work with. Chef Eric has an amazing talent, we asked if he could come up some recommendations for our event and everything was perfect. The day before our event some crazy weather threatened to derail our plans and the entire kitchen went above and beyond to help us with alternate plans on the fly. We scoped out every single other restaurant in the area - you won't find anything better (or that even comes close to comparing) anywhere nearby!

SUMPTUOUS SURPRISE! My husband and I were so lucky to have stumbled upon this hidden gem! Best food we've had during our Utah trip by far! The chef concocted food combinations on par with what we typically experience in a cosmopolitan city restaurant. Don't pass this up if you're traveling along highway 12!!! Staff were delightful and ranch ambiance was just what we were looking for.

Best meal of our Utah Parks tour! Friendly service, live music, beautiful scenery, and delicious food!! Everything is organic, locally sourced and homemade!
