Cowboy Ranch House Bar & Restaurant

Had a great meal and experience here. Is this a high end place where you should be expecting a mind blowing meal? No. We are in rural Utah, options are limited and many menus similar. With that said, the steaks here were cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were homemade, and to top it off, my old fashioned was also very good. I am giving this 5 stars because in rural Utah, this is as good as it gets, and our server Annette was also on point!

Good food - I had never had elk before. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Menu was small but what they did have was good. Nice beer selection with several Utah beers.

We enjoyed a good meal. A couple of beers and some jalapeno poppers to start off. We ordered a sirloin steak and a veggie pasta. Fresh vegetables and sweet potato fries. Everything tasted good. Serving size on the pasta was way too large and I couldn't finish it. I recommend and I would go back. We got there early, when it opened for dinner, and service was good and timely. Tables were filling up by 6:30.

It was okay. I had the trout, which was petty dry and not the flavorful. The sides were just mediocre. The service was good for how short staffed they were. That might have been why the food was just okay as well? It was better than fast food at least though.
