“We picked up pizza while passing by the city from Dinosaurs national monument to Salt Lake City. The Pizza place is small and perfect pickup place. There is no dine in option. We ordered the Thin crust veggie delight, added extra toppings of pineapple and red peppers. The service is quick. We got our order ready in 15 mins. We also ordered their marinara sauce, good in taste.”

It was one of Vernal's hidden gems. It was torn down for a hotel, but this taco truck has their recipe and even one of their grills! Fantastic burgers!”

“Great tasting food! We were so impressed when we stayed in Vernal that we ate here twice. The spice level was a bit on the mild side for my wife and I but very satisfied. The staff was very attentive the first day. The second day was still good, but a little slower due to a very large group (10+) coming in right before us. “We were hoping for a little more from this place. Keep in mind we didn't have their steak and that is what they are known for so we'll have to come back for that. Breakfast was quantity over quality. The food tasted good but not amazing. It was a little pricey but you do get your money's worth it's just not an amazing flavor for the money. We probably wouldn't do breakfast here again as it tasted like what it would if we made it. The atmosphere was very friendly and clean and the service was great.”

“I’d come for the peaceful music and a respite from the mind numbing music most places play these days alone. Nice piano or other classical music, including Spanish guitar a lot of the time. So peaceful and calm. The environment and atmosphere alone keeps me coming. This place has class. The gourmet food is a plus! I can think and have a conversation, feeling calm and at peace. High sense of refinement that most places lack these days. Great place to dress up for dinner. Staff dresses very professional, place has linen napkins and table cloths at every table…nice dinnerware and glasses. Fresh flowers and greenery each day. Real roses at some tables even. Has a special historical feel of Vernal that is very nice and charming. Owner himself seems to be a gourmet chef and everything he cooks is phenomenal. Very kind and thoughtful down to earth owner and staff. They gave me free dessert once because my food took a few minutes longer than they thought it should of took and I hadn’t even noticed a delay…I hadn’t complained. So very nice, I always feel very welcome. Staff listens very well to feedback and cares what people think. Their Philly cheesesteak is the best in the Basin for sure. Their sauces are amazing! I love to dip the homemade appetizer bread into the Jalapeño Aioli sauce. Outdoor dinning is amazing and magical too.”

“I was skeptical about eating in this place as we were told it was good but not sure if it served actual Mexican food. The prices are a bit higher from what I'm used to back in my hometown but the food is worth the price! I ordered the carnitas plate and they tasted as good as the ones I've eaten in Mexico. The plate was well served with tortillas, beans and rice. My husband ordered the steak plate and also said it was delicious. I also got a mango Margarita which was more than delicious and a Cantarito that was huge. The service was really good and the 2 ladies that attended us were really nice. Would definitely eat here anytime I'm back in Vernal.”

“We are new to living in Vernal and slowly getting around to all the different restaurants in town. This is one I would go to again and had great food. Not only that the ambiance was very "Vernal". If you are a tourist visiting this is a great choice with options for everyone. They also have a fantastic souvenir shop that is better than the dinosaur museums or the heritage museum in town in my opinion. If you want a fun, nice, authentic Vernal dining experience I don't think you can find better in town.”

No frills kinda place - so don't expect a dining experience - but hey, you're there for the good food. “This was based on the food truck only. I ordered chicken pad Thai. Firstly, I had to wait 20 minutes for my food. The beeper they gave me never went off. I finally asked about food and was given something that I did not order. After a few minutes I got my food. I ordered the 12 oz and it was a generous portion. The noodles were cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the fresh ingredients and the mix of flavors. My only complaint is that the level of sweetness overwhelmed the other flavors.”

When you go make sure to check the daily specials. The breakfast special one day was French toast which came with bacon and an egg.. The price made it an excellent value. Naples Country Cafe has plenty of seating and has room for large groups. Plenty of parking and easy to find.”
