Hula Hut Hawaiian Ice

“Hula Hut was conveniently located along the main stretch of Highway 24 in Torrey. I stopped by after a day in Capitol Reef and was impressed by their interesting and extensive menu. I enjoyed my shave ice and thought it was great value. Would definitely stop by again when visiting Torrey!”

Channis Bistro

The Flying Pig BBQ

Address: 875 E Hwy 24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

“Omg, really cozy place to eat, brisket and ribs are the best I have ever tried, definitely coming back again.”

Rim Rock Inn

Address: 2523 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Well appointed rooms, and very clean. We stayed in the “motel” portion of this property - the building between the office and the restaurant. Our room was a double and was the size of a postage stamp! We had to put our open suitcases on the floor just inside the door as there was nowhere else to put them! Aside from the unreasonable size of the room, it was really nice. I would recommend staying in one of the cabins for just a few dollars more. The restaurant: we had dinner there and it was very lovely. The food was very good and the service excellent. Very nice ambience , but typically expensive, being so near a national park. I would give this inn five stars if it were not for the size of the motel rooms.”

El Charro Negro

Address: 178 E Main St, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“I’ve had their California Burrito and Tortas. The best burrito I’ve found in the area. Their tortas are unreal, absolutely amazing. They make one with 4 types of meat, it’s heaven on earth if you like absurdly protein heavy god meals. They are also my favorite fries in the area too! (Sorry Capitol Burger)”

Rim Rock Patio

Address: 2468-2512, UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Casual restaurant with great views of the mountains from its patio seating. We came during a less busy time intentionally to better enjoy our experience. The wait staff was very attentive and our food was made well and tasted great. I only gave it 4 stars for food because it was good, but nothing I haven't already had in terms of quality and taste. There was indoor and outdoor seating. I loved the patio seating though. They had a small stage for entertainment, shaded and unshaded seating, yard games and disc golf available for use outdoors.”

Rim Rock Restaurant

Address: 2523 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Lovely spot! Was very impressed! Great views, comfortable space, lovely service, awesome prices. Soup was so good. Loved the mixed platter with quail, sausage and trout… all very good! Glad we found this hidden gem out here!”

The Pioneer Kitchen

Address: 2600 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Portions were smaller than expected and there isn't a ton of variety, especially on the kids menu. Food was fine but nothing to write home about. Service was attentive but not in our faces. Almost every item on the menu comes with fruit and potatoes, including the kids menu (even though it isn't listed there; that was confusing). Overall, I wouldn't be against eating here again, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list.”

PetroUS

Address: 875 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Good place to stop to fill up before heading into the park or going down hwy 12. They had a lot of different kinds of Utah beers to choose from plus coffee, sandwiches, snacks etc.. Gas price was cheaper than the one other nearby station. Friendly staff that I talked to & not sure what the other review was talking about but the bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen on my trip from FL & they did have towels at the pump as well.. Good place to stop if you're going by...”

La Cueva Restaurante Mexicano

Address: 875 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“We were lucky enough to come across this place on a trip to Capital Reef, I can’t say enough about the food or the service. The French toast is like none other I have ever tasted, I don’t know his secret, but it’s one worth keeping. We ate here two days in a row and the dinners are just incredible. I had the Chimmys and my husband had tamales and we have honestly never had better Mexican food. I recommend going out if your way to eat here.”

Noor Hotel of Capitol Reef

Address: 877 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Clean, quiet rooms. A bit older, yes, but they've renovated a lot and made it nice. It gives a kind of character to the place. Views are really lovely here too - I watched the sunset behind the mountains right from my hotel room. The price was really reasonable for the area being so close to capital reef national park. Staff at check in were really friendly. Food was good nearby too. There's a food truck with great Mexican food right across the way. I was really happy with my experience here!”

Broken Spur Inn & Steakhouse

Address: 955 East, UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Enjoyed the steak at their restaurant. If the portion is too big for one person, you can have it split into two orders with their own sides. Would recommend pairing it with the soup of the day. The complimentary breakfast was quite nice as well. The area is quite nice, and the rooms are adequate. There's are coin-operated washers and dryers, which is quite convenient when going on a trip for several days.”

Red Sands Hotel and Spa

Address: 670 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“The hotel staff seemed slim and was not always available when needed. However, they were truly helpful, friendly and worked hard to keep things at their best. The place is beautiful and serene. The spa was fabulously designed and had everything you could ask for. Private soaking tub, private hot tub. Great service, well appointed rooms, relaxing atmosphere, gorgeous views, excellent music, peaceful, tranquil, and the meditation room was a lovely and unique piece that added even more to the ambiance of a 5 star feel. I will definitely be returning to enjoy more services and have a meal or two at the in house restaurant and bar. Lovely location, lovely people, and great after a long hike out on the trails.”

The Rock Garden Eatery and Bar

Address: 670 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“This place has lots of personality and the staff is top notch. I'm not just saying that either, every one was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. Found this place by sheer luck. On a motorcycle trip and we ran out of sunlight and this place appears, bam. Great food and the bar tender hooked it up with a Manhattan to die for. ( And we got some killer card magic at the bar) thank you Joe and staff we had a great stay.”

Slackers

Address: 165 E Main St, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

“The locals favorite place, Slackers has various hamburgers, Buffalo burgers, chicken sandwiches, pulled pork, and salads. Their milkshakes seem to a favorite with everyone. Dining is both inside and on a lovely covered patio. Torey's finest hamburgers!”

Rock Reef Cafe

Address: 150 E Main St, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

“People are really nice here, I had a pepperoni pizza, it was good. It did have a fabulous crisp thin crust that was very tasty and My slices weren't drooping. My server was Juey and he was really good. Got a lot of tables in here. I guess I was the 1st one in for lunch but it started filling up pretty quickly.”

Autentico Street Tacos

Address: 135 E Main St, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

“Take it coming from a Latino that ate here. Great tacos and burritos I love it . Great food, came out super quick. And great customer service. If street Mexican tacos is what you’re looking for this is your place/truck. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you”

Capitol Burger

Address: Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“I typically don't have high expectations for restaurants in small towns, but this spot blew me away. My husband and I shared: - Mac N Cheese Burger - Mushroom Blue Burger - Fries I think these are the best burgers I've ever had. My personal preference was the Mushroom Blue Burger, but both were fantastic. The fries are great too. They're usually somewhere near their location on Yelp/Google Maps, but check their Facebook for where they'll be that day. There were no tables to eat at when we were there, but they told us we could use the picnic tables at a market just down the street. My only regret is not getting another burger. You need to go here if you're visiting Capitol Reef.”

Chak Balam Mexican Restaurant

Address: 12 Sand Creek Rd, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“Food was great. Salsa for Salsa and chips was a bit too salty and no real taste. Drinks were okay. I'd not order drinks again. Tamales and chimichanga was great. Our server was nice enough to give us spicy sauces, the green sauce was super delicious. Flan was great and I highly recommend it.”

Hunt & Gather Restaurant

Address: 599 W Main St, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“Exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, upscale and delicious. Interesting menu. Reasonable wine list and prices. Beautifully prepared food. Our server (Kerry), was super friendly. We had the antelope appetizer with wine to start. Then we ordered chicken and the elk for main courses. Tons of flavor and very tender. Not even the least bit of game flavor. We sat outside and really enjoyed our evening. Great work Chef! Look forward to seeing them all again.”

Torrey Grill & BBQ

Address: 1110 UT-24, Torrey, UT 84775, USA

Restaurant

“We had the 2 combo dinner with BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken and was just the right portions for the 2 of us and they were really good. The creamed corn was different than other creamed corns we have had. There were other vegetables mixed in the creamed corn. Very nice atmosphere.”
