“Charming and welcoming, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Dorset Inn. Our server Leigh was excellent, attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The Monarch Margarita is possibly the best Margarita I’ve ever had. Menu was comprehensive and the food came at a good pace, and was very good. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.”

“The Inn at West View’s dining is a culinary marvel. The Asian cuisine is authentic, brimming with unique flavor that has been so carefully chosen for each distinctive dish by remarkable chefs. The care that is put into their food vividly presents itself through astounding sesame chicken with Thai curry sauce and red wine and coriander braised short ribs. One of the best dinners in the Dorset/Manchester area.”

“We had the pleasure of staying in the Dorset Inn in Dorset Vermont on July 5th through 8th of 2019. The original building has been operating as an inn since the late seventeen hundreds, but that does not mean it lacks modern conveniences. Our room, The Rockwell (#26), was in the original building area and was very nice, with a king bed in the large bedroom, a living room with windows overlooking a lovely green, and a bathroom with a fabulous shower. There is ample parking in the parking lot behind the building or on the street. The grounds are well maintained and there are a few lawn chairs to use on the lawn. The innkeepers along with the entire staff are gracious and go out of their way to cater to your needs. One night during our stay we planned to drive to Manchester for dinner, but we were caught in a torrential rain storm so we asked the innkeeper to get us a table in the inn’s restaurant. They could not accommodate us at our desired time, so they called the restaurant in their sister property, The Barrows House, which was a very short distance away and got us a table at our desired dining time. We enjoyed our dinner at The Barrows House. We enjoyed 3 breakfasts at the Dorset Inn and the food was prepared to our taste and very good. As we eat foods on vacation that we normally do not in our everyday lives, we can say the French toast and blueberry pancakes wee delicious.”

“Very nice people. Fabulous Vermont Grade A Amber maple syrup. Visit during sugaring season. Get a bowl of ice cream down the road and they will top it with fresh made maple syrup!”

“Everything our party ordered was outstanding: halibut, chicken breast, duck, steak. Each was well-prepared, well-seasoned, and accompanied by excellent and appropriate side dishes. The European-style salad starter was as delicious as promised, and the dessert strawberry special with a zabione sauce was indeed special. Add to this a beautiful interior ambiance and helpful service. This restaurant does close for a break during Vermont's "mud season" but is a place not to be missed in summer and winter.”
