We stopped here for lunch and had a fantastic meal! The wait staff is friendly and well-informed. The food came out quickly and everything was perfectly cooked! The grits is creamy and slow-cooked to perfection. The biscuits are buttery and delicious. It’s hard to find good southern comfort food in Vermont, this has to be some of the best. We will definitely be back!

Their root omelette is the best omelette I've had in a long time. Very fresh and delicious ingredients. I was seated and served quickly, and they were on the ball about refilling my coffee. The decor kind of feels like a country home.

We stopped here for lunch on our way home from New Hampshire to New York. Initially, I was a bit concerned about the crowd of people waiting to be seated as we had quite a ways to drive still. The hostess told us 25-30 minutes and took our phone number, so we were able to explore the town while waiting.

About 10 minutes into our walk, the hostess called, apologized for calling early, and offered us seats at the counter. We returned to the restaurant and were seated.

Very cute restaurant, which isn't surprising since Vermont clearly own all of the cute. I even loved their bathroom with the cute wallpaper and poetry on the walls. Servers were friendly and upbeat. Just a wicked terrific vibe here.

Loved that they had tofu options and that a lot of dishes included collard greens. I ordered their chicken and waffles, which were a rather unique version that I loved. Cornmeal waffle, collard greens, fried chicken, and an egg with a slightly spicy cheese sauce. Yum! Impossible to finish. My only complaint is that I wish I hadn't been driving so I could have tried one of their cocktails. I did love their sweet tea, though!

Excellent restaurant. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return!

Very cute place for breakfast/brunch. The menu is southern inspired and offers many savory and sweet options. The home potatoes were heavenly soft inside and crispy outside. I really liked the homemade granola, with an extra side of cornbread. Overall, quite satisfied with this restaurant.

Excellent, authentic southern food. Best service in town! The chicken and cornbread waffle is unique and delicious! I highly recommend this place. There is usually a wait on the weekend but it's worth it. I was only in town a few days but ate three meals here. Free drink refills on tea, fountain soda and coffee was another plus since this is the only place that had that.
