“Fell in LOVE this morning. Best Heuvos Rancheros I’ve ever had. Flavorful red sauce, perfectly runny eggs, and the refried beans! All of it was amazing. I’m not from Montpelier and only stumbled upon this gem on accident while looking for a place to get a drink nearby, during an emergency DMV trip. I may have went a LITTLE crazy and ordered two slices of Tres Leche and some flan as well as Horchata and Hibiscus Agua Fresca to share with family. BEST. HORCHATA. EVER. I will definitely make the 45 minute drive just for more Arandas.”

“Great food and cocktails! Food came out very quickly. Neapolitan pizza and a few other entrees, salads and appetizers. Meatballs were amazing as an appetizer. Staff are super friendly. Great addition to the offerings in Central Vermont! Just opened last week, still working out a few things. A little bottlenecked with ordering at the moment but adding another Point of Sale ordering station and building up staffing. Best of luck!”

“My husband and I love Alla Vita. We buy all our olive, sesame, and nut oils and flavored vinegars there. The lunches are often vegan-friendly and delicious. They're accommodating when I ask them to add, say, hummus, chickpeas, and roasted veggies they have on hand to make my fresh salad into a meal. We brought home a container of white bean dip from their refrigerated selection of greens and a few prepared foods - yum! They've recently expanded the lovely interior and have more tables for eating and visiting, which we'll enjoy if we ever unmask in public places again.”

“We love Indian food and have tried a lot of different places. Ksherpa has been one of the best we've had! Flavors were delightful, not excess on anything, it was just right. We started with the Veggie Pakora, it came with a homemade mint sauce that was absolutely delicious. Then we had the Chicken Vindaloo and the Butter Chicken also delicious. Don't miss out on this place! Also the music, the vibe and service was just perfect. Thank you Ksherpa we had been having a rough day and you guys made it end great!”

“I went there this morning before school and got an iced mocha which was amazing!!! But I order a fresh start on a plain bagel and the receipt said fresh start but I got a bagel and cream cheese. I spent $5.50 and got a plain bagel with cream cheese. Beside that it’s a great place to go get breakfast!!!”

“We come here regularly for one or two rounds of pan fried dumplings and cocktails or wine!! Very nice staff and a great dedicated Owner!! When the Owner is there he goes out of his way to prepare a very special shrimp or beef dish for us since we prefer to not take the “all you can eat” buffet favored by many locals. The buffet is excellent if you come right at start of lunch time or start of dinner time. But be ready to put on 5 pounds the next day on your scale!!????”

“A very expensive grocery store (compared to ANY big city like NYC or DC etc. since I guess Vermont is so far away from major truck routes) but this Coop has certain food items that no one else has in Montpelier!! But even the LOCAL Vermont food items (like local cheese and meat products) are very expensive...all a bit of mystery to me!! Shaw’s has a cheaper but smaller range organic section. Check out both!! Shaw’s fish section is excellent and fresh...live lobsters etc. Wine section at this Coop is the best in Montpelier and cheapest if you know how to choose. Bulk section is absolutely the BEST! Very, very reasonably priced. Just the tops with a HUGE range of items. Nice checkout folks and helpful staff in all sections. Pity they serve no wine or beer with food on the nice Terrace. Then I would dine here weekly. But I guess that may be taboo under “uptight” Federal or Vermont laws for a Supermarket to get a liquor license to serve wine or beer they already sell in their own shelves!! Sad?”

“The cutest little cafe in Montpelier! After driving four hours up to VT from Massachusetts, I stopped into Bohemian for a snack and a drink. Loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious! This would definitely be my usual haunt if I lived closer.”
