    This is a really special place. The people at the rental shop greeted me like an old friend when I walked in the door even though it was my first time there. Then I had an awesome lesson with a great instructor named Paul who I also got to see again when he showed up to enjoy the live band that night. On a packed day it was such an intimate setting. Skiing was a blast. Can't wait until next time! Thanks Paul and team!

    Magic Mountain reminds me why I love to ski. The skiing part is great, but it is much more than that. Magic has that special ingredient that so many corporate run resorts are missing. The personal touches the staff provide, the rustic lodge, the friendly bartender that remembers you from the last time you were there, the reliable double chairlift that you can sit on, relax and have a conversation with your son between runs, and of course being surrounded by the beauty of Vermont. By far my favorite place to ski.

    Hi all!

    We just wanted to write and check-in about some awesomeness and some other stuff from our family's visit today.

    Firstly, the rental guys are AWEEEESOME. They were so thoughtful and patient with us with two beginners and other issues we were having.
    Big shout out to Peter and Griffin and (I'm sorry, forgot his name) wearing the brown beanie.

    We stuck by the beginner's hill with the kiddos all day, and had a blast. The conveyor belt is a massive WIN for our family, seeing how easy it is on and off, and it was always manned with at least two Magic staff.
    Magic Merchants staff were amazing, really sweet and helpful and offered options when a couple of things were sold out.

    Our experience at the Tavern wasn't good. They were short-staffed, some issues with the food.
    BUT, the manager ALREADY emailed us back today (after our visit yesterday) with apologies and to offer to make it right on our next visit. THAT, people, is just amazing customer service.

    We'll be back, seeing that we live just down the road 30 minutes.

    We're locals and love Magic.

    Great bang for your buck! Trails are well groomed, great variety. Good people

    One of the best "Old style New England Mountains." A true jewel that should never go away. Get the new lift running!
