“This is a really special place. The people at the rental shop greeted me like an old friend when I walked in the door even though it was my first time there. Then I had an awesome lesson with a great instructor named Paul who I also got to see again when he showed up to enjoy the live band that night. On a packed day it was such an intimate setting. “This is the best Vermont “ski town” food I’ve ever had. For this price point you might be expecting a typical plate, with familiar frozen fries and Oscar Meyer looking deli slices. I was surprised when my food came out, every last detail was unique AND completely from scratch. The Nachos are amazing, every chip made in house with the pickled jalapeños and pulled pork putting it over the top. The Biscuits and Gravy were plated in a way that makes them look less guilty than they are. My eyes are drawn to the eggs, they look local and free range. I find out later that the owners keep chickens and source eggs from their own farm. The best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had (and it’s not close) were followed by the best bread pudding that I’ve ever had (also, not even close). Revival Kitchen’s name is appropriate, as they call out the “ballpark food stand” mentality that many Vermont ski town restaurants adopt. They do so loudly, and without compromise.”

We ordered a cafe Mocha, The pammy sandwich, and they also customized the eggplant wrap into a sandwich for us. Everything we ordered looked and tasted great. “Best place around by far. Everything is always consistent and great. All of the staff work together incredibly well and are very respectful and friendly. Most have been there for years. They will get to know you with in just a couple visits, and it soon feels like home. Though many places near by seem to be constantly raising prices and cutting portions, Tad has made a point over the years to keep his prices fair, as well as offers specials almost every night, so there really is something for anyones budget. He cares about his local customers in a way few do. Whether you want to sit in the dining room and have a nice or romantic dinner, or in the tavern having drinks and wings, they will take care of you and provide the experience you want each time. If you have had a bad night elsewhere, they will go above and beyond to ensure that the positive experience with them will have made your night worthwhile in the end. “Ambiance is incredible. You feel like you are eating in a best friends home. The preparation and flavors rely too heavily on the local ingredients without thoughtfulness. If you only are concerned with farm to table then you will be happy here. In order to get your or five stars I would expect flawless service (waited 10 minutes for our drink orders) and pork cuts were different than what was ordered. And also expect the food to be of the highest quality (tender and tasty) as opposed to just local.”
