The appetizers we're the best part of our meal. Each of them was creative and delicious. The mains we're good, but not nearly up to par for the price charged. The desert was good, but the Panna Cotta we ordered was definitely not as advertised. If you're up by Stratton, give this place a try but don't have astronomical expectations.
Definitely eat here! Our friends who know southern Vermont well got a tough-to-get reservation at this place and it was amazing. Everything was fantastic all the way round the table, especially the apps. So fresh. So delicious. Didn’t love my lamb but everything else I tried made up for that.
Always changing menu. Locally sourced with Spanish influences. One of my favorites in the area. Plan on slow dining on multiple courses with friends.
Ambiance is incredible. You feel like you are eating in a best friends home. The preparation and flavors rely too heavily on the local ingredients without thoughtfulness. If you only are concerned with farm to table then you will be happy here. In order to get your or five stars I would expect flawless service (waited 10 minutes for our drink orders) and pork cuts were different than what was ordered. And also expect the food to be of the highest quality (tender and tasty) as opposed to just local.
