The burger that my companion had was excellent, two hand made patties, (They cook quicker and with more crispy grill bits!) with cheese on a delicious brioche bun. Place hits a local home run with me. Right on Route 5, very close to Landmark College.”

“The ambience of the place is very rustic, and done really well. Very warm & welcoming staff. There's a prix fixe dinner, which I believe changes daily. Salad, Entre, and dessert. The salad was amazing! That was a shocker! So fresh & tasty. The entree was between a lemon chicken or a pan seared trout. I went with the trout. It was cooked perfectly. Skin was crispy and fish was tender. Dessert was excellent. It was a slice of pie(can't remember), a creme brulee, and a mint chocolate mousse. I had an IPA to drink, it was delicious.”

“Located in front on the main base lodge. The waffle cabin is very convenient and tasty. It is a bit over priced, but what do you expect when you are at a ski resort and in the middle of nowhere. I have been there so many times it is worth the wait and the $5 for the waffle. They are so sweet and crunchy but also very soft. I can't wait to go back”

“This review is mostly for the super nice bartender who let us spend the day hanging out and enjoying the view of the mountain. My friend and I were joining a larger group but we were not taking part in skiing or snowboarding and needed a place to hang out. We found seats in the bar area and the bartender greeted us and told us we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted. We stayed the whole day reading our books and drinking cocktails. Later our friends joined us and we stayed for a late lunch. The food was all very good especially the grilled cheese.”

We made reservations 2 weeks in advance and showed 20 minutes early to wait by the bar. 40 minutes later we watched a family show up and immediately get seated. When we called attention to the host he apologized and seated us only to wait an hour for any food to come out. Mind you we immediately ordered the specials upon being seated. Overpriced, inattentive waitstaff and decent food at best.”

“The Food was great. However the whole town doesn't seem to be very welcoming to tourist which is odd because the tourist industry is what fuels the economy here. For instance the waitress was very cold, distant to my son and I, she made us feel like we were a burden to her for even being there. Not even a thank you for your business or a goodbye or anything from anyone in the restaurant even though they all looked at us putting on our coats and walking past them all to leave, even the manager.”

“Great time! There are really two sides to this place. 1. A sit down area for a nice quiet dinner. Make reservations for that area ahead of time. 2. The bar area... This is where we went. Bar was good sized and there was several pool tables, darts and ping pong. We showed up with 3 family's and kids in two. They were very accommodating to us all and the food was great.
