“This place was FANTASTIC. We went to the lounge on a Friday night where they had live jazz, and their cocktail menu was really interesting and inventive. Then we went to brunch there the next day and the whole time could not stop talking about how incredibly good the food is as we were trying to eat it. I will definitely be back!”

“Incredibly courteous and accommodating staff. Cocktails that are as beautiful as they are delicious. I greatly enjoyed my south bound rose. The poutine was not only delicious and complex but could serve as appetizer for four people with it's generous portion. The lacquer on the ribs was phenomenal and had a satisfying shatter as it gave way to unctuous and smoky pork. Definitely get the coleslaw.”

“Amazing attention to detail. Tiny restaurant in an old diner car with only six tables, so be sure to make a reservation. The food and service were both top notch. The people working there all seem very happy.”

“The bartender and co-owner is amazing. I am absolutely in love with his drinks! He wrote a beautiful cocktail book with recipes that makes the perfect gift for out of town guests. The food is always yummy and the service is fast and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place!”

“I have visited The Works frequently, and would consider myself a regular! Their emphasis on the foods they serve are - value and healthy meals. That said, I can never see past their awesome BLT on Sour Dough Bread. Each time I visit, I vow to try something different. But I always end up ordering this as it is so good. The Works has a varied menu, much of it Organic. They also have a great selection of Smoothies, salads and Sandwiches. Prices are pretty good. Service is excellent too. Employees are so polite and professional, and helpful. If there was one criticism I could make, it would be to add more areas where customers can sit and use there phones, tablets or other electronic devices while plugged in. As far as I can see, there is only two plugs available. If customers could plug their devices in, they would visit more frequently and stay longer buying coffees and foods.”

“One of the greatest casual restaurants. Delicious mouthwatering food, quick service, the greatest friendliest and most laidback staff, such a cool vibe. I find myself laying in bed at night randomly craving the food. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken tacos!!”

“Customer Service: Very Good Food Quality: Excellent Overall: Highly Recommended First, I don't give out a lot of 5 stars for food but this place is worth 5 stars. To the Chef/Owner: As a Chef Myself it is great to see a place run by a great chef & the way you can tell this is the love he puts into his food. Thank you Chef. Okay about this place: This is a scratch kitchen with clean fresh ingredients that are aloud to speak. They offer a Salsa Bar: with 6 or more different salsa, my 2 favorites were the 2 different Avocado Salsa, great flavor profile & texture. Plus you get to dress your taco's it comes with the protein but then it is up to you to put what you want on them. I think that is a great idea. The thick cup homemade corn chips are perfect. I had 3 taco's: A chickpea w cauliflower cooked in a homemade Tinga Sauce that is amazing. If you are a Vegetarian or Vegan you need to try this. The second taco was the shredded chicken: great texture and flavor. The best for last I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: the SLOW ROASTED BEEF SHORT RIBS, just try this you will have a food orgasm. The rice & black beans that came with this were cooked perfectly & well flavored. Once again: Highly Recommended. Thanks Chef for creating one the best place I have eaten in a very long time.”

“We have been going to this family run restaurant for years. We love the family and the Korean and Japanese food. The only issue we have ever had is that service is sometimes quite slow.”

“Extremely delicious and great options to substitute from gluten. My wife had the mushroom burger on an onion bun which was very flavourful. I had the baked burrito which was just as tasty. Would highly recommend this as a great vegan/vegetarian alternative. Staff was friendly and great atmosphere.”

“Blue Moose is a perfect date night venue. Ken, the head chef, makes all the pasta from scratch. That makes a big difference in taste! If you go on a weekday, you can get a house bottle of wine, 2 apps, 2 entrees and 1 dessert for $50! Food is always phenomenal and wait staff is always very friendly. Would absolutely recommend if you’ve never been here before!”

“Good food, good wine, small menu but really taste with meal prep in the old style. Close seating with somehow the feeling of being roomier. Parking could be a bit of a challenge but easy walk from downtown.”

“Inventive dishes but didn't hit the spot on taste for some reason for or for my son. I'd be willing to try it again. I really hope it was just an off day. Next time I have to try the breakfast donut!”

“Ordered a sandwich and dessert to go. The view from the bar is spectacular! Prices seem a little high but for fall in Vermont right on the Connecticut River... beautiful views of the bridge, water and mountains I did not mind too much but 30.00 including tax and tip for sandwich and dessert? Brisket Sandwich=6- lacked flavor/spices and seemed like a LUNCH portion of meat Pecan pie=6 -mushy center filling and 2 pecans with whip atop a skinny slice. SP Fries=3- cold and soft, not crispy. I will go again for the service and the ambience but maybe choose the burger next time. I only live minutes down the road so I don't think my travel made the fries cold. One other observation: the food runner came to the bar with one box containing my sandwich. I had to ask about the dessert. Usually when there are multiple items: 2 To-go boxes 2oz solo cup w/lid of ketchup and spork kit the customer gets a bag to carry it all in. I had to balance all of these items out the door to my car. I do plan on returning for a second visit.”

“I went into Subway tonight and got a sandwich I went home and the roast beef tastes a little off so I brought it back and the boys behind the counter where excellent and helping me. They apologized and made sure that I received a new sandwich. I'm not a jerk I understand things go wrong and it wasn't quite super sour yet ,it was just starting to get there. They threw out the package and whatever was prepped and made fresh portions that I can vouch were delicious. Thank you to the two boys on canal Street just trying to keep people happy ????❤️”

“I really miss the bagels I used to get in NYC. Bruegger's comes VERY close to the taste of a New York bagel. The selection of bagels they make is amazing (20 different types, I think) and if you get there early enough, you'll be able to pick from the freshest of fresh, as all of their bagels are made on the premises. My absolute favorite is the jalapeño cheddar. They have plenty of spreads to choose from, as well as sandwiches, soups, and other goodies. I order a dozen bagels from here at least once every month.”

“Domino's Pizza is Domino's Pizza not to be mistaken for other pizza places in town. It tastes OK but there is a certain Domino's Pizza taste I really can't describe. It's not as great as I would like to. It's all right for a late night meal as it's the only game in town after 9. It's open til midnight, which suits me well. I mean, their pizza is OK. I like to eat it. It's absolutely not bad tasting. It's worth a visit especially if you are out late.”
