What an amazing place to eat and stay. After one of the best meals of my life, with fantastic wine pairings, I just had to go upstairs - no need for a designated driver.

As a bed and breakfast, the Lincoln Inn was a total success. This was a mother daughters weekend, and we needed a room for 3. However, after we decided to eat a tasting menu at Lincoln Inn, after reading stellar reviews, I took the chance and called the proprieters to see if they had an accommodation for 3, which they did. It was a charming cozy room with a double and a single bed, all with comfortable mattresses. The closet was small but it existed and was sufficient for a weekend's clothes. Bottled water was provided daily and there were chocolate cookies (homemade) to greet us. Again the bathroom was cozy but lots of hot water,

Each morning was a full breakfast cooked perfectly by their reknowned chef Jevgenija Saramova. For more info google Lincoln Inn Forbes Larry Olmstead - far more eloquent than I, and spot on in his review. The eggs were perfect no matter how we asked for them to be prepared, poached, fried and scrambled. We could specify exactly which fruit in the fruit bowl and vegetables in the scramble. The menu was simple, locally sourced and perfectly prepared.

The seven course tasting menu was anything but simple, sourced worldwide (wagyu beef flown in from Japan etc) although I'm sure much of it was from local farms, beautifully presented, and paired with the unusual wines that complemented each course perfectly. The first course was Langoustine with Caviar, followed by Hamachi Crudo, then a perfect Seared Scallop with Saffron Emulsion and Yuzo Air. I can't really describe how beautiful each course was, accompanied by sauces and garnishes that balanced each dish. After serving Morels with Pistachio and Pineapple, we were served Pigeon Breast and then Wagyu Beef with Escargots. Dessert was a perfect Chocolate Bavarois accompanied by Strawberry Sherbet.

I will definitely be going back.

Incredible prix fixe dinner. We had the wild experience of reserving there the night of a storm and massive power outage — to our amazement, the Chef and staff pulled off a superb meal and experience. Without power! Can’t wait to return.

We went for dinner and found Mara and the Chef to be terrific hostesses.
The food presentation was gorgeous and the taste of all the dishes was out of this world.
The wine list was carefully culled and prices were very reasonable and paired well with the dishes.
We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting in the surrounding area of Vermont.
    A true hidden gem.
