The Village Inn Of Woodstock

We went for dinner. Location to our hotel was perfect. Drinks were good and the live music fantastic.

The meal was a 1 star. We ended up spending $130 for 4 small tostadas, 4 half stuffed jalapeños, 2 small sundaes, 1 glass of wine and 1 beer. Waiter did not understand the menu and we did not get what we ordered.

Buddy asked to use the bathroom, they directed him to a room. Someone’s room. Surprise!

Really enjoyed our third stay with Heather at the Village Inn of Woodstock - this place is THE BEST!!! It's like walking into a friend's home - warm, friendly and comfortable. Everything is classy, well kept and attention to detail is maintained throughout the entire Inn. Breakfast is always served with a smile and the freshest ingredients. The location of the Inn is close to the center of the village while also being close to a wonderfully redone East End park with a walking trail, picnic tables and places to meditate or just sit by the river. This time we had the pleasure of meeting Alice who was running the Inn and cooking while Heather was away. Alice and the rest of the staff did an AMAZING job taking care of all of us - they were so willing to do whatever we needed to make our stay a great one- customizing food and drinks for all guests and taking the time to socialize with us after all their work was done. Family in Vermont - a home away from home is how we feel about everyone and everything at this great place!!

I can't say enough good things about this Inn! We booked an impromptu stay at The Village Inn of Woodstock and we are so glad we did! The Inn itself is beautiful - full of gorgeous antiques and stained-glass windows. It's in a great location - walking distance to downtown with plenty of parking. The service was everything you want when traveling - we felt so taken care of, as if we were old friends AND felt pampered - it was lovely. The bartender Carla was so friendly and gave great local recommendations. The drinks were great - inventive and delicious. The star of the show was the breakfast - service was so lovely, the food was amazing and I'm sure it will get even better as more produce is in season. Heather is a spectacular chef and a wonderful host. We truly can't wait to come back!

We ate dinner at the Village Inn Tavern and had a wonderful time. The dining room filled up very quickly yet the staff handled everything in stride. They were featuring an abbreviated menu for the off-season, but there was something for everyone, and everything was excellent. Heather, owner/chef, came out to check on everyone and she was a delight. Renee, our server, was charming and even showed us a room for when we return to the area. It was beautiful and well appointed. Would highly recommend giving this Inn and restaurant a try!

We came here for our one year anniversary and it was the most perfect setting. This inn is charming, cozy, and far exceeded our expectations on service. You immediately feel welcomed by guests and other staff alike. Heather, the owner, personally took our breakfast orders in which we were served up a scrumptious meal. We got a lot of snow during our stay and it made for the most romantic setting at the inn and when we walked the town. I can't recommend the Village Inn of Woodstock enough. Run, don't walk here!
