“Excited Torchy’s is in Charlottesville! Really good food and great service - quick, friendly and very attentive. We sat outside and they give you a pager for your order that you place on the table and they bring the order to you, which was neat. The restaurant was very clean (well stocked drink station with condiments and takeout containers available) and had a nice bar and outdoor seating as well. Will definitely be back!”

“Excited to have close sushi and ramen options. The food was great and the space is really really nice! A little more casual than I was expecting but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.”

“Glad a new burger spot opened up in the area. The vibe is incredible - very open and clean, friendly staff. The food was pretty good. I tried their single burger (with lettuce, dill pickles, Shack Sauce, tomato, grilled onions, and cheddar cheese) and also tried their turkey and Swiss sandwich, with potato chips on the side. The burger was decent. It was filling without being overwhelming. The meat is a thin layer of beef, and the cheddar cheese was nice and melted. The Shack sauce was a bit on the sweeter side, but not terrible. It was definitely a messy burger tho, so the bun got soggy pretty quickly and it’s not something you should eat if you’re not stationary. The turkey sandwich was really good - I liked the herb Mayo they put on it, and it’s a really nice size for $8. The chips are house made, and for $2 you get a good amount. They’re a bit on the salty side, but in combination with the food I’d recommend it as a side. They give you the chips in a brown bag.”

“Tried take out, good portions and fresh ingredients but both dishes were kind of bland. Also selected "Thai hot", and it wasn't even spicy. The takeout at the Thai places next to Harris teeter tastes better but I'll give this place another shot with indoor dinning once they get their liquor license. The interior looks nice.”

“This is a great addition to the area!! This place offers an excellent new option when it comes to food. There are just way too many pizza, burgers, Chinese, and Mexican food in the area. Bacio offers really fresh salads with probably the sweetest tomatoes and onions. My current favorite dish is the Lamb Kabob. Portions are also very generous. You better come hungry! Finally, the staff has been very nice. They are friendly and are always there to serve you. Oh, don't forget to try some of the AMAZING Baklava!! To sum it all up - Lots of delicious options from the menu. I'm there almost every week. AAA+++!!”

“Yes of course the barbecue is amazing, but let me tell you about their banana pudding, Go grab you some !! Don't leave without it! The Bend BBQ is a perfect family-friendly establishment, and it's a perfect addition to the small town of Scottsville. They are some BBQ-loving folks who are extremely dedicated to making some excellent food. I would add a picture but my food is all gone !”

“The owner is so so nice and this is definitely the best gas station food in Charlottesville! I got the chicken momos and they were delicious but the sauce makes them even more irresistible. Please please check them out, they are wonderful and you won't regret it! ❤️”

“This location is great! Every time I come by the employees are amazing! They are always greeting me and know me by my name. There was a mistake on drinks and they were happy to remake them at no charge. I was very happy with their service and willing to help out a daily customer.”

“Finally got to try this food truck over the weekend as they were located at a nearby apartment complex on a Sunday morning/early afternoon. I opted for the lunch menu and chose the Dirty Bird with cajun fries. The fries were sidewinders (curly in shape but thicker than a normal fry) and nicely seasoned. The sandwich was a fried chicken breast with bacon gravy, pimento cheese, and housemade pickles on a biscuit. It was fantastic! All of the components were good individually, but came together to make one impressive sandwich. We ate the combo for lunch; it was so filling we didn't eat the rest of the day. I'm already looking forward to another visit. Really want to try the scones (they were already sold out when we arrived) and a biscuit covered in bacon gravy. Bacon gravy isn't seen much, most places serve sausage gravy. I got a taste on the Dirty Bird and would opt for the BBG if ordering breakfast. What a great addition to the local food truck scene!”

“This place is just amazing. I ordered Easter baskets for my kids while we were all home on quarantine. They were delivered in the middle of the night, on the eve of Easter, just like the Easter bunny would have done. The baskets were FULL of great stuff and my kids were absolutely delighted. It really touched me how they went around town delivering Easter baskets late at night, in the middle of a pandemic. Wonderful company. Wonderful people.”

“This 7 eleven one would think would be like most other seven 11s and you would be correct if you're thinking of a 90s era store that's in need of a refreshing or a remodel. Staff is friendly and efficient. Other local visitors are somewhat sketchy at times but we gotta love them living their best life now. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. I will return at some point. Probably when the lottery gets up to a billion again.”

“It's a great mini version of Bold Rock's Nellysford taproom - they have all the same ciders on tap (though a smaller bar) and do flights as well, with bottles and cans to go. Plus, their "Barrel Barn exclusives" are available here too. It's just a taproom - no food options - and their canned cocktails aren't available because of ABC laws. But as a small taproom at an orchard, it's fantastic.”
