Catch on the Ave

My first visit to Catch was a shrimp kind of night. The Bang Bang Shrimp was a tangy way to start the meal while the Shrimp and Grits was savory and delicious. We’ll definitely be back soon, but it’ll be hard for me to order anything different for a few more visits.

Nice restaurant. Great food. Great service but I cant believe I was charged $2.00 for ice in my bourbon on the rocks!

This restaurant rocks! Very open, good feeling, very friendly atmosphere. Fabulous food....started the evening with Bang Bang Shrimp - sensational.....entree - very fine pecan crusted salmon - unbelievably good.
Service was spot on!! Great waiter, very attentive. We ate at the bar and really enjoyed our evening. Only constructive criticism I can offer - it would be nice if you had more than one choice for Pinot Noir....fortunately I enjoyed your one option. I will be back ...real soon.

Whoever designed the interior was definitely trying to cater to the yuppie Del Ray. It's cute and clean looking with a lot of the same elements from its predecessor (Snack Bar), but I sat in those chairs expecting to snap their cheap metal in half (I'm not very heavy). I'll admit that I didn't eat there; we stopped for a couple drinks. Cocktails were really sweet. I mean, I won't go back for a drink. I'd be willing to give their food a shot as it looked pretty good.

Had the bang bang shrimp appetizer and shrimp n’ grits for entree... both were amazing!! Also loved the modern nautical feel of the space. Would recommend!
