“I love going here for subs while maybe grabbing a gelato or some Italian cookies. You also can't go wrong with their selection of wines and pastas. It's a very small shop but they pack a lot in. If you want to spread out a bit check out their other location up off Lee highway for a bigger store and great pizza to go with their awesome subs.”

“It took a while to get my order of a single happy meal. There didn't seem to be many people there, not sure what the hold up was maybe short staffed or the people ahead of me had difficult orders. The staff I saw was moving, so I do not think it was them being slow.”

“Good sandwiches but long prep time. Even when the place is empty, it seems to take a long time to get something like a steak & cheese. It's good, though. And the service is friendly.”

“Mmmmmm i love this place!! I go here for lunch at least once a week. Their food is pretty fresh and tastes really good. Decent prices for the amount of food you get. Great view of the Potomac River while you eat. Outdoor seating when weather is nice. It is in a business building so they are not open on the weekends, but if you are here during the week you should check it out!”

“Had a wonderful meal last night at Del Ray Cafe'. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal and felt our service was spot on. We tried both the Restaurant week menu and regular dinner menu. We recommend the Oysters and the Shrimp (heads are cooked on for full flavor) for apps. My husband loved his Scallop dish and my Steak was cooked to a perfect Medium Rare as requested. We will definitely return and highly recommend.”

“Fantastic for brunch. When my parents are in town we'll usually go here on Sunday mornings before they head out. Only issue is that it's a bit lacking in seating on busy days (which Sunday brunches usually are) so either get there early, be lucky, or be ready to wait for a spot/share with another group (not necessarily a bad thing!). But seriously, their breakfast sandwich is AMAZING!!!”

“Stopped in here on a rainy day. Really small spot and it was full. Server was nice but it took a really long time to get the food and even longer to try and get and pay the check. Food and the coffee (which the server said they are known for) was just ok in my opinion and took a really long time to get. Liked that it had different food and was fun to try but wouldn't go out of my way to go back.”

“The Employees are pretty cool and some of my friends also used to work here. It's a nice addition to the Foxchase Shopping Center. The Beverages are great and the Donuts are always on Point”

“Only been here a couple of times during weekdays in the late morning. That weird twilight time between breakfast and lunch. There were always lines but I would not call the place crowded. There was always a lot of empty tables - I assume most people are ordering to go. Also, being still kind of empty in the day, its pretty clean. The crew is bilingual and pretty quick. There were no mistakes with any of my orders. They have a few televisions on the walls with the volume set at a reasonable level but you can easily find a quiet spot to sit if you want. When I sat next to one it was showing a news channel so that was a change from all the sports channels most places have on their TVs. The food was okay for fast food. If you went to McDonald's for healthy food with no sugar, no salt, and low calories, well, you might want to go someplace else. Still, you could try one of the chicken or fish sandwiches. It is right next to the Alexandria Health Care Center. I go there for check ups and to have my blood checked. So I have to fast for 12 hours. Afterwards I need food and this place gives me what I need - calories, sugar, and protein. Also pretty close to the bus stops.”

“Delicious buns, donuts, and pastries. The perfect place to quench the sweet cravings. I'm absolutely in love with this place. Their things have a perfect amount of sweetness, neither too much nor too less, an accurate level. I truly love their caramel donut. It's the best!”

“A nice and orderly location that is clean. The staff was friendly and it was not very busy when we went. I would come back if in the area.”

“there's a lot of good things on the menu and good variety but mostly Italian and the craft beer is exceptional although it's quite expensive I thought at $8.50 a piece. I had their minestrone soup and it was very large bore and very tasty although they don't have any saltine crackers in the restaurant. I also tried some appetizers and they were just here we are standard. but the waiter was more than friendly and very personable so it made it all if I start experience in a very good neighborhood pub, which is a very popular place”

“Hidden gem indeed! Great place for a quiet, delicious breakfast at a good price. Perplexed by others saying it’s expensive—I spotted only two menu items over $10, so not sure where or what they’ve been eating. Sandwiches are $5-7. Friendly service and great coffee. Lunch items look delicious. Maybe next time.”

“The best! Thanks for the best food and accessable check out machine it so much easier for me to get my order done and without having to worry you're going too slow. Best thing added to McDonald's. Staff was friendly too when bring out the orders as well as with providing good customer service. Can't not talk about the food as well. Always great especially the mcgriddles. Always my go too and now that it's all day. McDonald's just takes the cake”
